The drinking water woes of the people of West Godavari district will soon come to an end!

The Amarajeevi Jaladhara Project, for which Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri @PawanKalyan garu laid the foundation stone on December 20, 2025, is being constructed at an estimated cost of around ₹1,400 crore.

The works are progressing with the target of completing the project by March 2027. Once completed, the project will meet the drinking water needs of 7 constituencies and more than 19 mandals in West Godavari district.

This is another step forward in the commitment to providing safe drinking water to every household.

my hometown, Bapatla, used to have ~5km wide forest cover from coast line ( Suryalanka beach ). Now its almost gone. There are many places like Bapatla along 1000km coast line of Andhra Pradesh.

Thank you @APDeputyCMO for taking up the project of 'Great green wall of Andhra Pradesh' and pursuing & implementing it agressively to restore the lost mangrooves and forest cover.

@PawanKalyan garu is not a regular politican, but a typical example of leader with true intent and iron-will. We need more politicians like that, but its impossible for any normal person with honesty, integrity and will to become a politician due to impossible-to-crack the entry barriers like corruption, money, caste lines.

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan directed officials to speed up the Great Green Wall of Andhra Pradesh and finish 2026–27 plantation targets in two months.

A 5-km-wide coastal green belt is being developed along AP's 1,053-km coastline, with plantations across 8,888 hectares and 305 hectares of mangrove restoration under MISHTI-II.

🚨 AP govt is expanding its Smart Kitchen network under the Dokka Seethamma Mid-Day Meal Scheme.

🔸33 new Smart Kitchens worth ₹29.70 crore are being established in Kadapa district, taking the total to 38.

🔸Once operational, they will serve hot, nutritious meals to 1,00,091 students across 1,778 government schools and junior colleges.

🔸Each ₹90 lakh Smart Kitchen features steam-based cooking, RO plants, solar power, biodigesters, CCTV, GPS tracking, and dedicated food transport vehicles.

🔸The new kitchens are expected to become operational in the second week of August, with a third expansion phase already approved for six more locations.
