@mattturck “Basically left for dead” is overly strong given the 95% of companies on Main Street providing real value to humans that will be just fine bc they’re built on trust.
This is the real “AI bubble”. The echo chamber on X, etc that insulates from everyday, durable businesses.
@petergyang@NickADobos Agree. Anyone with an LLM can build a 80% decent game in 30 minutes. But it takes hours/days of refining to get something with proper taste to drive experience and engagement.
Not everyone has the time or interest to go that “last mile”.
@gabriel1@OpenAI Love the vision/positioning.
Not sure you’ve made it simple/plain language enough for onboarding non-users. (e.g. only the most ai-pilled know posthog)
1996: “Dad, can you get off the phone? I’m trying to sign on to AOL.”
2006: “Mom, can you make sure I’m DVR’ing the Giants game?”
2026: “Honey, I left my laptop closed at home. Can you open it up, log me in, and make sure ChatGPT app is open?”
