@gtconway3d@TheRickWilson@realDonaldTrump Our rooster resents this comparison.
He makes sure the flock is taken care of before himself and is willing to put himself in harms way to protect the others.
Kind of the complete opposite of the chicken who is scared of a debate, actually.
@HeatherPeske This story could have been written about our foster son! He is two years into his English language education and has received very little help with reading (his current ESL teacher isn’t even trained as a teacher, much less trained in ESL or reading). Do you have any suggestions?
@luludunn98@luinalaska They are pretty! I have problems with them choking my sweet potatoes or other vining crops, so I’m not sure I would introduce them if they weren’t already here.
@mediamandan75 @Atticus59914029 I was scrolling to make sure this was said. Historically, this is NOT “unorthodox.” Frankly, the early church had a lot more humility than most today when it came to claiming to know the answer to the question “who will be saved?”
@alyssaharad This is a great story and totally something I would do. I love the description of the pepper on the website “behind the burn-your-face-off spicy, it has a nice flavor”
@hill_spt My kids have decided that the finger motions look like Cthulhu, so the phrase is now, "here is the church, here is the steeple, open it up, and now it will eat you."
We just added space to our home so we can continue to be family for our kids no matter how old they are, but we are privileged to have stable income (definitely NOT from fostering!), but most families of kids from Central America do not have those resources.
@1a We are refugee foster parents and have kids in our home who chose to be placed with a foster family instead of host/family because they knew they would have to work if they lived with family.
The challenge is that she has family she chose not to live with because she wanted to go to school. Her family simply would not afford to have her live with them and not work though.
@EnnoFarm@westcottpiemont I was just at PetSmart with my littles (3 and 5), so of course we had to look at all the animals. I kind of wanted to offer them some additional mice...
(as a side note, why would someone want to pay $$$ for a chinchilla?!? They are just overstuffed mice!)
I'm a home cook feeding a family of four.
I love everything about the cooking process, from prep to tasting and it allows me to detatch from life and relax.
Cooking at home is an amazing experience, so come along with me if you love home cooking too and let's learn together!
