Just pinning this. Leaving @Twitter as it becomes haven for mis- and dis-information. Will keep account for now in case sanity returns.
Trying out Mastodon, with limited experience.

@SunilPaul@Twitter I will continue posting and engaging with people on LinkedIn. It's less fun and of the moment, but at least it's respectful and the neo-nazi count is low.

For more momentary social posts, I guess Mastodon...

Seems like it's time to exit @twitter. After many years and more words in tweets than I've probably had in my books, I can't really support this platform with my time and data. Adios.
Let's go Copenhagen Council! Check out this cool job putting Doughnut Economics into action in the city. Pls share with anyone who could be great in this role. It's a brilliant initiative & may spark many more cities to follow - could your city be next?... https://t.co/ZBo4AsHAmO
8 billion people on the planet now.
I knew this was coming soon, but it's still amazing.
I remember hitting 5B in elementary school. My father remembers a world at 2B.

Good news at COP27 today:
Nigeria declared its decision to adopt ISSB standards, to unlock capital markets investments in support of resilient development. The most populated country and biggest economy in Africa is a first mover. Humbled by the leadership of Africa.
I was in EU on election day (so strange), but had a big day with the launch of #netpositive in Italiano. Sat down with Wall Street Italia at the @wobi_en World Business Forum (where I spoke). See the subtle product placement.
@Nate_Cohn@jeffnesbit Serious question. Why is so much analysis put in terms of what Dems did or didn't do. Where's the weight on GOP choices? How about how GOP blew a huge historical and economic advantage by running democracy-deniers and attacking fundamental rights. Isn't that story also true?
@jholz__ @emorwee Don't you think that even coal communities know that things are changing? Sen Manchin with his performative anger about saying the TRUTH -- that coal plants will be closing over the next decade -- is silly. He's not helping his own people.
Who's more 'divorced from reality', Pres Biden for saying that coal plants will close, or Sen. Manchin for pretending they won't?
And who's actually looking out for coal communities. Pretending those jobs will exist in 10-20 years is much meaner...
