INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHIRRAJIUUN.
The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, this afternoon in a clinic in London.
May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus, Amin.
IF - by: Rudyard Kipling always inspires and uplifts when situations seem hopeless, when leadership falters, and all else appears to be failing. Enjoy!!
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!
NIGERIA UPDATE: Waziri Adio, my Kennedy School classmate, on the proposed (2025) budget and related matters - Every citizen must read this treatise. - @elrufai
“There are other curious items I have seen in the proposed budget. One glaring example is the plan to transfer N146.14 billion to MOFI (Ministry of Finance Incorporated) as counterpart funding for the Lagos Green Line Metro Rail Phase 1.
This raises many questions.
The proposed allocation for the metro-line within a state is 65% of the capital budget and 57% of the entire budget of the Ministry of Transport.
If this is counterpart funding from a recapitalised MOFI, why is the money coming from the budget of a federal ministry?
Why can’t MOFI raise its counterpart funding from the market?
How was the decision arrived at that this is a project to invest federal money into and will such facility be available to other states outside of Lagos?”

Picture: There are a few reasons why the the Supreme Court should sack President Tinubu!
♻️President Tinubu lied under oath in 1998.
♻️He lies about attending St. Paul Children’s Home School, Ibadan, from 1958 to 1964.
♻️He also lied about attending St. Paul’s School in Aroloya, Lagos, which does not exist.
♻️He also lied about attending secondary school at Government College, Ibadan, between 1965 and 1968, which the authorities debunked.
♻️The same year, Tinubu filled out the INEC Form F001 he submitted to the electoral body as part of his academic qualifications, which included the claim that he attended the University of Chicago and not Chicago State University.
✳️ 1st offence: false declarations made under oath. On December 29, 1998, an affidavit entitled Affidavit in respect of lost certificates was sworn to by Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Governor of Lagos State) before the Commissioner for Oath at the High Court Registry, Ikeja.
✳️2nd offence: false statements on oath) by Mr. Bola Tinubu as contained in the two documents, that is, Independent National Electoral Commission Form CF001 declared and verified under oath by Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Governor of Lagos State) before the Commissioner for Oaths at the High Court Registry, Ikeja, on December 28, 1998."
✳️Third offence: forgery and identity theft.
♻️President Tinubu's date of birth on his passport is 1952.
♻️On his transcript, the date of birth shows 1954.
♻️And on his CSU application form, the date of birth is 1955.
♻️While his Southwest College record shows female gender!
NB:President Tinubu had committed perjury in Nigeria and forgery and identity theft in the USA.
