Following a spontaneous influx from the DRC over the weekend @UNHCRuganda received over 3,000 asylum seekers at the Nyakabande Transit Center. A total of 5,451 people are temporarily occupying Bunagana Primary School from where they will be transferred to the Transit Center.

@MinofHealthUG has confirmed an outbreak of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in Mubende District, in Uganda.

The confirmed case is a 24 year old male a resident Ngabano village, Madudu Sub County in Mubende District presented with EVD symptoms and later succumbed.
