We need innovative solutions and new tools to tackle this housing crisis. 🏡
That’s why today we announced B.C. is creating new pre-approved residential designs for triplexes, fourplexes and laneway homes.

Cost of independence. Today & tomorrow Ontario hears 'community' on Housing Bill 23, some good, some horrible. I signed up, but not invited. Why? Clerk said poli-parties PC, NDP, Liberal reps chose from list. As I do not belong to any, even just getting 100,000 votes, no voice.
Every time Penalosa talks about Toronto he talks about what it *could* be, and how it could *specifically* be better. I think Tory did a pretty decent job as a pandemic mayor, but he's also a man of the status quo, and the status quo in Toronto is a city for the rich, in decline.
The Green Loop will be the most ambitious urban green space project on the continent. My plan includes:
🌳100-km connected trail of ravines, hydro corridors and existing parks
🌷500 allotment gardens
🚲Trails for walking, running and cycling

Well... just because yesterday I was curious:
what might a ~6 storey passive house w no underground parking, a mix of units sizes, and only 50% site coverage look like if it replaced two mid-block 50' single fam lots on the west side.
As Mayor, I will keep #OntarioPlace public by swapping the location of the proposed Therme spa to the Exhibition parking lot. Unlike Tory, I have a vision for our waterfront and the will to make it happen. Read my win-win proposal: https://t.co/OMZyLvxuvN
Save main streets. Must densify all corridors, as a right, 5-9 floors (12 if wood). All local shops need a few floors above, to have solid base of customers for the area.
Hey doc buffs, what are films that say they're about something and yet exclude typical and/or all visuals of that thing. Here are two examples: The Prison in Twelve Landscapes by @brettpstory and Origin of the Night (Amazon Cosmos) by Lothar Baumgarten.
Some key takeaways to continue to ponder: what catalogues do we still need to build and, as @crystalchokshi and @aepasek alluded to, what type of generous language do we need to employ to address the issues found in "The Extractive Circuit"? #EMLRG
