@cxllumlfc100 Problem is Mac Allister out of contract in 28. Going to be a similar scenario to Lucho where we won't pay him what he could get elsewhere and don't want to be paying him a big salary into his 30s so this summer is max value.

@RobGutmann Problem with Macca is he either needs a new deal or selling this summer. I can't see us giving him enough of a salary bump to get him to sign considering his age etc, so most likely he goes.

@6thiagoat Aren't they on the 4th bid for Akliouche without reaching his transfermarkt value? Yet expect us to pay nearly 2x the equivalent valuation for Barcola. PSG are getting like Bayern where they bully the domestic clubs because theres no competition

@1ndy_B If the rumours we tried for Barcola last year, that was the future proofing, but he didn't want to be a backup for a season before WC. This summer I guess alah refused to be sold because he wanted a big sign on as a free agent, so was released to move for Barcola. My theory

Not sure it's much more than a trial for the Olympics for the bigger countries now, get young athletes used to a village & audiences for sports that don't really get them etc
