Templates are taken, followed by removal of the badly eroded stonework. The replacements are skilfully masoned in the workshop then seamlessly fixed on site.

It’s a Regimental Sergeant Major’s Service Dress jacket, based on the design of the Officer style, but with a stand collar.

I had always wanted one but bought this on a whim from an online auction last week when it drifted past very cheaply…
