I could be wrong, but I feel like Mets fans are more disgusted by what is going on with the team now than ever.
Mainly because we felt like days/years/seasons like this were behind us.
Hope is not a strategy, and even the most hopeful fans are completely checking out.

🚨🇮🇹 Paolo Maldini, İtalya’nın FIFA World Cup’a üst üste üçüncü kez katılamaması sonrası sert konuştu:
🗣️ Maldini:
“Kimlik yoksa, gurur yoksa, sorumluluk yoksa… İtalya artık İtalya değildir.”
No kidding. When Italy won the World Cup back in 2006, there were massive celebrations across the Tri-State area.

Pete Alonso pens a farewell message to Mets fans:
New York, thank you. These last few years have shaped me in ways I’ll carry for the rest of my life. This city demands your best and I’m proud to look back knowing I gave everything I had into earning the privilege of wearing that jersey.
I’ve been blessed with incredible teammates, coaches, trainers, staff, and countless people who helped shape me into the player and man I am today. I’m forever grateful for every person who challenged me, supported me and believed in me along the way.
Thank you for the passion. Thank you for the love. Even the tough love that comes with playing for New York. When it came time for first pitch, thank you for being electric through it all. Thank you for getting rowdy every time I stepped up to the plate and made the building shake when the ball found a seat over the wall. Your energy fueled me more than you’ll ever know.
You believed in me, and you made me better.
With love,
Polar Bear

Apparently Yankees fans found a tweet of ours from December celebrating the Mets, Juan Soto, and a shift of vibes in this city. Yes, the Mets completely blew it. This season sucked. No way to sugar coat this disaster. Steve, Alex, Stearns, and Co have a lot of work to do. Your team is in the Postseason, and we're not. 3M+ fans rolled through the gates of Citi Field this year. Clearly, we're loyal. We love our team. Of course we're going to puff our chests out when things seemingly start to go our way. Any fans would do the same when their franchise has seen way more losses than wins over their lifetime. Tip of the cap to you guys. Your team got the job done and turned things around when both the Mets and Yankees were floundering in the summer. Fact of the matter is, you're still thinking about us/The Mets instead of worrying about the Sox tomorrow night.
A complete embarrassment. Absolutely sickening. This season was torture for three and a half months. They are lucky they made it this far. The Mets didn’t deserve to go to the Postseason.
@jjtwofive@BeaneaterB you should reach back out to whoever you were in contact with maybe you still have the email chain and say I would have saved you millions dumbass
