japan is the cleanest example of why the tokenization opportunity is in public markets outside the US.

there are still hundreds of small listed companies trading below book -- huge cash, securities and real estate sitting idle on the balance sheet.

for scale, there's ~1,000 public companies in Japan trading at <1x book value (and about 200 trading below 0.5x book). [1]

here's the kicker: the japanese government is actively pushing policy reform to force a rerating through buybacks, higher dividends, etc -- to improve ROE and trade above book.

these companies are now discoverable (just go prompt your agent). at some point, tokenization will distribute them globally.

they will rerate at internet speed. matter of time -- perhaps a BONK moment for small cap stocks -- that showcases what happens when a mispriced asset meets global liquidity.
