Honoured to welcome more than 80 representatives of the @OSCE participating states to Malta for the second preparatory meeting of the 31st Economic and Environmental Forum.

The transboundary nature of climate change requires the commitment of all levels of society, from the smallest of communities to the highest political level in the multilateral arena.

In my opening address, I reaffirmed @OSCE24MT's determination to continue strengthening the engagement among OSCE and its participating States in finding innovative ways to tackle climate change.

📌 As the central decision-making and governing body of the OSCE, the Ministerial Council meets annually and guides the work of the OSCE bodies and Institutions.
