Is Mr. Lokesh Kumar, AGM, Punjab & Sind Bank, above the Indian Constitution? Reportedly, after receiving ₹10 lakh PLI, he is threatening subordinates for refusing to join the strike.

Similar intimidation may occur across PSBs this week. Please intervene urgently and ensure employees’ rights are protected.

यह न केवल मेहनती बैंक कर्मचारियों के अनुभव, ग्रामीण सेवा और कठिन चयन प्रक्रिया को अपमानित करता है बल्कि यह सार्वजनिक बैंकिंग प्रणाली में निजीकरण की घुसपैठ का संकेत भी देता है।

बैंकिंग ट्रेड यूनियनों को अब इस कदम के खिलाफ संगठित और कड़ा संघर्ष छेड़ने की आवश्यकता है, ताकि सरकार यह समझे कि सार्वजनिक बैंक किसी व्यक्ति या कॉर्पोरेट के नहीं, बल्कि देश की जनता के विश्वास पर बने हैं और इनके संचालन में कॉरपोरेट दखल एक बड़ा जोखिम खड़ा कर सकता है।

Tragic News from Baramati, Maharashtra

Shivshankar Mitra, Senior Manager at Bank of Baroda (Bhigwan Road branch), died by suicide inside the branch premises.

In his note, he cited severe work pressure as the reason for his extreme step.He expressed a wish to donate his eyes — even in death, showing deep compassion.

Such heartbreaking incidents are becoming alarmingly frequent across banks.

How long will the system ignore the human toll of unchecked workload and pressure?
