@JrPhilgene@King2Eclipse They're just testing their skills. Maaaybe (low chance) there's a bounty for the data on some dark web forum/marketplace, but doubtful since it's not really data that can be sold. Usually this is just amateurs or intermediate black hats that are looking for a challenge
@BabyBellGuy75@Lutra_Gaming Turns out it just had a memory failure, but since it wasn't, you know, modern RAM, they didn't know what to look for. The hardest part for me was sourcing the shit lol.
@BabyBellGuy75@Lutra_Gaming Knowing the old tech still comes in handy though. When I worked at a box plant while doing my IT degree online, one of our 30 year old machine's main computer "broke" maintenance guys and even the machine's manufacturers had no idea what was up because it was so "out of date"
@SeaCritDev@RealBSP3 Xbox takes 30%
Epic takes 30%
Sony takes 30%
Nintendo was the FIRST company to take 30%, and that was during the fucking SNES era.
People are so willing to paint a target on Steam for just using the industry standard number for rev share, without actually looking into anything
@MizusPuddle@Z1netsu_0 Generally speaking, at least in the US, there's already settled case law on stuff like this. We have standing rulings that commissioned work belongs to the client in its entirety
@HiMyNameIsAyle@LukeTreacy25525@Mick19988 I think it's halfway on purpose, to show they're not too different despite Khorne being seen as more evil than Khaine. When honestly, if you look at their portfolios of like, what each god covers, Khorne is way less of a dick
@LinaLavendula Ubi signed the agreement that any game they hosted had to be sold at the same price on steam as it was elsewhere. Ubi tried to rug pull them
@Alderan_d@NCyotee That ToS doesn't hold up in any legal framework however, since your ToS goes against actual copyright law that commissioned work in its entirety belongs to the client
@suesskatzi@ChibRisky@AsterBlake03@Woofwoof3D@fwmann1e Go look at that scene, pay special attention to the condition of not only Gyatso himself, but the room around him. Those firebenders didn't fight back. The only real way to keep a firebender from fighting back is to prevent fire from happening.
@bitemeoff@LegendaryTakes@TennisPicksUSA@aPROballplayer Oh no, the billionaires made a first proposal in what's going to be weeks of negotiations that the millionaires are mad about.
Fuck em both, make the league more even, stop letting teams buy a world series
