We are on site in Edmonton at Florence Hayes Recreation Ground and Raynham Doorstep Green making improvements to these green spaces.
We have been working with local community members including park users, students and residents to design them for the future.
@ediz1975 Of course it’s the same person but it’s okay that he’s a hypocrite.
He can put on a slide show of all the places around the world he’s flown to for all those “poorer people” he’s talking about: that’ll cheer them up no end & all will be well.
Nothing to see here. #flyingmete
@carlafrancome It is; really very well done to you all. It’s a horrible junction for everyone and making sure pedestrians are safe is of paramount importance.
@carlafrancome Well done on your campaign to make things safer for all at the junction, particularly the kids & pleased to see that Haringey did not go with a bus gate for Brownlow.
On safety matters though, it’s concerning that the cyclist behind you is executing an illegal right-turn there.
@CarabineLongue@matthewkitching As you’re clearly lying Mark, I thought I’d remind you of the wording if the actual petition 1683 residents signed & not the fantasy one you’re spewing on here.
A significant number of your WRAG group signed the petition too I believe, no? Tell me I’m wrong: I double dare you.
Spending on trading standards services has been cut by more than 50% in 10 years. Over the same period, fraud has become the most common crime, accounting for 40% of all offences
And Enfield Council, shame on you
@ediz1975 Definitely an air conditioning unit. That’s not very eco-friendly of climate warrior @mikehakata is it?
It might not be plugged in (because it’s ….y’know, winter, but not good optics at all for a man & council supposedly saving the planet.
Talk about an elephant in the room.
This @TfL graph is supposed to show how londoners’ movement mode has changed since the pandemic. As you can see they haven’t changed very much….
#London
@ediz1975 It’s awful having your stuff pinched but I was under the impression that he owned 2 Jags, plus another vintage car.
The Cabinet Member holding the portfolio for environment, including ‘Sustainable Travel’ whilst owning at least one 3 litre diesel Jag 😖😖😖. Not a good look.
I thought I would help out our Labour Cllr who is very pro LTN and a clean air advocate….
The Cllr has had his 3L diesel Jaguar stolen ……..
If seen please report it….
I suppose the pro LTN Cllr will have to buy a bike now and cycle like me.
I welcome the High Court’s ruling that Tower Hamlets Council followed the proper procedures regarding LTNs.
Tackling the climate crisis is a key priority for the Council and we are continuing our work to significantly reduce emissions and transition to a net-zero borough.
@JourneysPlaces So……. combined with the works on the corner of Maidstone Road & Warwick Road, that’s over £500,000 of greenwashing nonsense finally completed for maximum virtue-signalling impact.
Yes folks - over HALF A MILLION POUNDS of taxpayer cash with virtually no discernible benefit 🙌🏻
@AlexanderEhmann@Nobbie2020 So you would not have an issue with it if they adhered to the designated speed limit for the particular public highway in question?
If there are works on the main thoroughfare then I’m genuinely curious; where do you expect the vehicles to drive?
Really @JourneysPlaces . Only on one occasion have I seen a bike parked in these things, and it wasn’t even a rental.
How much money has @EnfieldCouncil chucked at these pieces of scaffolding @ErginErbil ?
@NumeroUnouk@JourneysPlaces@EnfieldCouncil@ErginErbil They don’t care if bikes use it or not. All they care about is removing parking spaces….. one here, one there…… stealth-that’s what it’s about.
But you think they’d keep up the facade & pretence on Brownlow by not having it full of crap all the time wouldn’t you. #Enfailed
