Excited and grateful to share our paper describing how KCTD10 detects collisions between replication and transcription. Huge thanks to my mentors, collaborators, and reviewers who made this possible! @Nature@MayoClinic

Nonatherothrombotic causes of #cvMI events, especially spontaneous coronary artery dissection, were more common in younger women than younger men, according to a community-based study published in #JACC.

PKP2-ACM is associated with a distinct ventricular arrhythmia pattern on exercise stress test that may carry prognostic significance. Strong work in @JACCJournals from @MayoClinicCV fellow @MCastrichiniMD and the @MayoClinicWSRGH team! https://t.co/XtgGxGxJAo
Not all LMNA missense variants are lower risk. Variants involving p.Arg471 and p.Arg541 in the IgD domain result in a distinct LGE pattern and increased risk of VA/stroke. Big shootout to @MayoClinicCV CI fellow @MCastrichiniMD! https://t.co/o6g2fSwITu
This AI screening model used only an apical 4ch echo videoclip & effectively differentiated cardiac amyloidosis from other causes of ⬆️ wall thickness
Our FDA-approved AI echo model to detect HFpEF from an apical 4-ch videoclip also works with handheld US! @ultromics@MayoClinicCV@JournalASEcho Application of an Artificial Intelligence Model to Detect Heart Failur... https://t.co/gPI2RUCOAX

Glad to see our @JAMANetworkOpen study out. The study brings attention to the growing healthspan-lifespan gap across the world and reveals the largest gap in the US. The study documents a larger healthspan-lifespan gap in women associated with a disease burden disparity.
The global healthspan-lifespan gap has widened to 9.6 years over the past two decades, with women experiencing a larger gap than men, and is associated with increased noncommunicable diseases and overall morbidity, particularly in the US. https://t.co/wseBlPfdGs
@SularzAgata@JAMANetworkOpen Thanks! We show that sex disparity in the gap is associated with sex disparity in the disease morbidity burden.
We dissect this for the US where musculoskeletal, genitourinary, and neurological diseases impose the greatest differential morbidity burden on women (Figure 5B).
Glad to see our recent publication decoding the cardiopoietic secretome and its linkage to the repairing myocardial proteome out! Thanks to @DrKentArrell, Dr. Terzic, Dr. @AttaBehfar, and all coauthors.

Happy to see our manuscript characterizing sex-specific differences in the multi-omics profile of HCM officially published! Grateful to @MJAckermanMDPhD and my co-authors for making this possible. https://t.co/MNfMpeFnqI
.@MayoClinic research is investigating the health effects of space travel on private citizens. A @MayoProceedings@ArminGarmany paper shares findings of the health response of the first all-civilian astronaut mission to the International Space Station.
