6 members of Congress have written a letter to @SecRubio and @DAGToddBlanche for the purpose of asking the US State Department @StateDept and DOJ to investigate several Amercians who attended the funeral of the Ayatollah in Iran, including: @jacksonhinkle, @ChrisHelali, and @CallaWalsh, who used to work for Senator Elizabeth Warren @SenWarren before she moved to the Middle East to be a spokesperson for Islamic terrorists.

The letter says,

“This type of behavior is wholly and entirely un-American. In fact, the only thing American about these people are their passports. They are traitors and terrorists that must be held accountable.
They are a subversive and destabilizing force acting on behalf of a hostile foreign power in open hostilities with the United States. If they loath our great nation so much, we should do them, as well as all real Americans, a favor and deny them re-entry into the United States of America.

Calling ourselves Americans means more than waiving around a U.S. passport. Support for the enemies of our country, with American blood on their hands, must be a disqualifying offense.
We undersigned ask that you investigate these individuals" attendance of Ali Khamenei's funeral and their participation in its IRGC coordinated programing to assess whether it qualifies as material support for a Foreign Terrorist Organization under the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994(18 U.S.C. § 2339A) or the Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996 (18 U.S.C. 2339B).”

The letter forgot to mention another American who attended the Ayatollah’s funeral where organizers and attendees were chanting “Death to America” and “Kill Trump”.

We should nuke the filibuster to pass the SAVE America Act.

If we don’t have the votes to nuke the filibuster, we should put the SAVE America Act on the floor and debate it until it passes, requiring filibustering senators to speak and making clear that if they stop speaking, we can “call the question” and pass it with a simple majority.

If for some reason we can’t do that—and to be clear, there’s no legitimate reason why we can’t—then we should use budget reconciliation to pass it.

But not passing the SAVE America Act is not an option.

Neither is taking a lengthy recess without doing any of the above.

2. Announce that we’ll keep debating it for at least a few weeks, working through weekends and scheduled recess time until it passes.

3. Require filibustering senators to speak, with the understanding that if they fail to do so the rules allow us to “call the question” and pass it at 51.

4. Stick to the plan—especially when it draws complaints from senators and becomes tedious—waiting at least a few weeks before even thinking about filing cloture.

5. This is how the Senate worked before we zombified the filibuster, making it automatic, silent, and free of obligation.

6. Filibuster abuse has become rampant, insurmountable, and even debilitating as we’ve stopped requiring filibustering senators to do *anything* other than oppose cloture—or even simply announce an intent to oppose cloture!

7. Human nature and over two centuries of Senate history tell us that when senators are required to engage in hard work and continual speaking to sustain a filibuster, they tend to wield it more responsibly.

Last night, I went to the Senate floor to refute Democrat lies about the SAVE America Act.

This vital legislation requires proof of citizenship to register for federal elections. It requires photo identification when casting a ballot.

Nothing radical. Nothing extraordinary.

Nothing that millions of Americans don't already do to board an airplane, cash a check, enter a federal building, purchase certain medications, or pick up tickets at will-call.

"Noncitizen voting is already illegal."

Exactly. Robbery is illegal. We still lock the bank.

Identity theft is illegal. We still verify identities.

Fraud is illegal. We still investigate fraud.

No serious person believes that declaring something illegal eliminates the need to enforce the law.

The SAVE America Act enforces the law.

And the American people overwhelmingly want our laws enforced.

Last Thursday, President Trump declassified reports detailing how vulnerable our elections have become.

Our own intelligence community concluded that foreign adversaries like China and even non-state actors possess the capability to compromise American election infrastructure.

The assessments specifically identify voter registration databases, electronic poll books, and election websites as the most vulnerable targets.

According to the White House, Communist China acquired approximately 220 million American voter files. Names. Addresses. Phone numbers. Political affiliations. Enough information to build detailed profiles of nearly every American voter.

If China hacked the personnel files of the Pentagon, this chamber would be in an uproar.

If China stole the banking information of 220 million Americans, Congress would cancel its recess.

But somehow we're expected to shrug when the target is the American voter.

The House has acted. The President has called upon us to act. The American people are begging us to act.

The only thing standing in the way is the Senate.

We’ve been told there simply isn’t enough time to debate the SAVE America Act until it passes.

But there is no law that we all need to take summer vacations. We don’t have a lack of time; we have a lack of spine.

The American people are watching.

They know this is not about Republicans. Not about Democrats.

It isn't about the last election. It isn’t even about 2026. It's about every election yet to come, for generations, and whether Americans can trust them.

American elections belong to American citizens.

We should make it easy to vote, and hard to cheat.

We should pass the SAVE America Act.
