I diden't get it why people hated CEOs of big companies until I saw this Dario guy from claude. Their product is good and I use it everyday but he is absolutely a MFing asshole who wants to make it harder for others to compete with him and hype his product in this absord way.

Working with Unreal Engine is much faster in 2026 and I prefer to not have to go back if possible. It mostly works but when you navigate with the cursor or jump to definitions, it loses track. The last time @DanteGagne took care of it but he is no longer at MS.

Still it rebuilds shaders or the whole IL2CPP GameAssembly completely for no reason and still it does not have much added exciting features. It is a better engine than 2022.3 but not much better at least in aspectswe care about.

We upgraded a project from Unity 2022.3 to 6.3 and Unity is still the slow , cluncky thing it was before. The builds are as slow. compiling IL2CPP takes 1.5 hours on the machien that compiles UE5 source in 40 mins. It is hard to go back to Unity.

@RayBenefield I'm sure there are people on the right, on the left, people who care about different things in FN community, programing community, Unreal community ... assuming we all share political values if not a tool for enforcement is just an incorrect assumption. IMHO

@RayBenefield Well to me that is beyond the point. Of course as humans many share most things like struggles and dreams. The assumption that something as big as FN creator "community" shares values like that is either wrong or it is used in some cases to push for purification/silencing.
