This was my first big UI menu in UEFN after the new tools dropped and a proper stress test for Verse Fields, View Bindings, and the updated UMG workflow.
• 100+ Verse Fields
• 175+ View Bindings
• 40+ Animations
Built the whole menu with reusability + optimization in mind (just 3 textures + a small set of materials). Multiple UX passes later and I’m really happy with how it turned out 🔥
Huge props to @NoahUEFN who handled the entire Verse side, couldn’t have done it without him. And of course @Heavyblue 🐐
Learned a ton of UMG lessons the hard way, might drop a thread with those soon.

This blockout I did for the 2nd class was my first layout for Enginefall. It was actually built when I was working with an outsourcing studio on a short contract prior to being in the team. It shows its age for sure and has come a long way since.

I wanted to thank you, and all the developers involved, for the incredible work you put into Community Day. The effort, passion, and genuine interaction you've shown toward the players haven't gone unnoticed. Seeing developers actively engage with the community instead of remaining distant is something many of us deeply appreciate, and it's one of the reasons I admire the work you all do.
Because of that respect, I'd like to share a concern that I believe is held by a significant portion of the community.
If possible, I ask that you reconsider adding TheBurntPeanut to the game. The concern isn't about personal dislike, but about the controversy surrounding him. Across community discussions, many players have pointed to clips and comments they view as racist, transphobic, sexist, or otherwise disrespectful toward certain groups. There have also been concerns about inflammatory behavior and remarks that many feel don't reflect the inclusive spirit Fortnite has tried to build over the years.
Fortnite has always felt like a place where people from different backgrounds can share the same island, regardless of who they are. That's why many of us hope collaborations and additions continue to reflect those values.
Thank you again for everything you've done for Community Day and for continuing to listen to us. No matter what happens, the effort and communication from you and the team are genuinely appreciated.

This is the blockout I did for botanical. Another one that could’ve used a little more polish preparing the lighting and clean-up before handoff but still quite happy with the layout and vibes that I got considering it is very different from the others.
A lot of things have changed over the last year and a half. After running Zen Creative / Upside Down Studios in Fortnite Creative for the past to 5 years, it’s been a ton of fun but I’ve learnt it’s time for a change.
I’ve been fortunate enough to work with Good Gamers for the last year now and I have to say, they mean business when it comes to developing in this ecosystem. I thought I worked long hours but these guys really blow it out of the park! I mean it when I say they really do care about producing the best work they possibly can!
Really excited for everyone to see what we’ve been working on and looking forward to the future.

I had this idea for a 4-player dynamic splitscreen setup.
Not sure if it's better than a traditional splitscreen setup, but I like the fact that you can see the relative locations of other players visually.
