In Maharashtra, cane-cutting women are the healthcare lifelines for migrant communities
In drought-hit Marathwada, women trained as Arogya Sakhis are providing first aid and medical support to thousands of migrant families left behind by the public health system

The theme refugee life was well portrayed with Igor’s personal diary project of 100 days of Ukraine war. It was all new way of portraying war over saturated visuals of war with unique perspective of his personal experiences escaping frm frontline of war 2the other side of Ukraine

My latest work, how a gang rape survivor was expelled from her village by women Sarpanch, How caste plays role in rural patriarchal society & victimisation of oppressive tyranny. Story frm #Beed, home of million migrant labour.

When a young woman in a tight-knit community speaks out about rape, what she often meets is not support—but shaming, ostracism, and betrayal. This case exposes how local stigma, social pressures, and community bias can derail justice nearly as effectively as legal flaws do.
Migrating can cutters like Sadhana Waghmare felt cut off from basic healthcare during the months they are away from home. Like when she was in Karnataka and her younger daughter was suffering from Unhali, a condition where you need to urinate frequently in summer.
Thank you for considering this long due demand of Kolhapur and near by six districts for a bench of high court in Kolhapur, this can turn to be very helpful in time and money saving for people.

Making these #KolhapuriSandal is hard and tedious. Craftsmen can take several days to make a single pair. There is also little money, with middlemen pocketing much of the profits. Then, most craftsmen are caught up in ‘debt traps’, writes @lennyspeaks https://t.co/FFMMEPdxDL

#worldoceanday Fishers who migrate from Palghar to Gujarat end up in Pakistan Prison for allegedly venturing in to international waters. The climate crisis is heating waters and so on 4 good fish catch fishers need 2 dive deep into sea where they are being caught by other country
My @Hostwriter cross border story pitch award winning story with Faisal Rehman about how climate change is pushing fishers into deep sea for selfish catch and end up risking their life behind bars across other nations. @ian_urbina@earthjournalism
From Palghar to a Pakistan prison: Fish hauls are in free fall as oceans warm, forcing fishermen, many of them migrant workers, to go deeper into the sea, often violating international maritime boundaries and facing arrest and detention, report Abhijeet Gurjar and Faisal Rehman.
