When you disobey Allah knowingly, you can feel the world treating you with disrespect immediately. You feel like a burden in other people’s lives.

When you repent from a sin or spend a day detaching yourself from others to the best of your ability, while spending some time doing some form of worship, suddenly you become important in other people’s lives. To the point where those who ignored you, suddenly reach out to you for help or just to hang out with you.

There are some scholars who had a sound Aqeedah and Manhaj, that was testified to by those close to them and also by their actions and fatawa over all. But due to ignorance, husn ad dhann for wrong individuals, or a sincere human error, they may have said a thing or two incorrect. In such cases I personally don’t believe one should make complete disassociation from them unless they allied with the clear cut enemies of Islam while knowing their reality, let alone takfir them.

Many Mujahideen and contemporary scholars in prison, addressed some scholars with manners while still disagreeing with them in some of their stances, who some kids on this app rush to call “Munafiq” or “Kafir”.

The Prophet ﷺ said,

“When a judge gives a decision, having tried his best to decide correctly and is right, there are two rewards for him; and if he gave a judgment after having tried his best (to arrive at a correct decision) but erred, there is one reward for him.” [Sahih Muslim]
