11:30am Severe Weather Update: Tornado Outbreak Possible Today!

- In the latest severe weather update at 11:30am, we did not see an upgrade to moderate, but the 10% hatched area has expanded south. Everyone has the threat for strong tornadoes today. A tornado outbreak is on the table from 4pm-8pm this evening, along with very large hail (up to baseballs). We have the perfect setup coming together to support all hazards, so keep an eye on the weather anytime late this afternoon and evening. Storms will be isolated so not everyone will see rain during that time period. The ceiling is high for this event if everything comes together. #ilwx

Our crew on the @Space_Station caught a glimpse of the @NASAArtemis II crew as they re-entered the atmosphere from their journey to the Moon! We first saw a bright light and a trail as the service module burned up. We didn’t see the Orion capsule itself as it re-entered, but we saw the wispy trail it left behind in the upper atmosphere. Overjoyed that our friends are safely back on Earth after their awe-inspiring mission!
