@LinusTech I have a 3090 and play in VR, for any resolution over 1440p the performance hit is insane while the visual boost isn't proportionate. I get that's it's important, but it should have been saved for the 40 or 50 series ideally where additional GPU power was available

@elyse4design @churchlady320 @SecretaryPete That's a loud NO, 3x delayed then cancelled flights. 5 hour long lines to cust serv, 3 hour long hold times with random call drops, $200 voucher from Southwest meanwhile 7 days not in my destination city with luggage that they refuse to give me. This is a common situation

@susanabolduc @SecretaryPete Robust systems that can accommodate a spike/crisis event OR a minimum viable system that reduces overhead but can be overwhelmed should it be pressed beyond normal parameters.

@SouthwestAir took the latter approach, more profit but not the first time it has failed epically

@Pugs4Pete4USA @wmandrew10 @SecretaryPete The storm didn't selectively impact Southwest routes, in fact Southwest does not have hubs so technically airlines that do have 'hub and spoke' (all other airlines) would be more affected not less

Somehow only @SouthwestAir has not recovered meaning more than just weather woes

@SouthwestAir 3rd day of multi-hour delays that end in cancellations out of STL, with the cancellation notice coming within an hour of a delayed departure. Look at this board, luggage MIA after 48 hours and the service line wait is 4 plus hours

@SouthwestAir This was followed by the app saying 'you've been rebooked' which wasn't true at all, and my luggage getting 'stuck' as baggage claims literally stopped delivering luggage due to the backlog. 25 calls to cust service busy or hungup on, waited in line for 4 hrs. Help

@SouthwestAir Not sure how this happens, but on Xmas arrived at 245 for a 4pm flight from STL to BUR. Notice of a 45 minute delay at 4pm, followed by a notice of another 1 hour delay at 5pm, followed by an additional 45 minute delay at 6p with a cancellation at 7pm.

@DonHaci Late to the party, but i waited years to afford the gfx card and Oculus etc for VR. The whole Johnny forced engagement in an open world RPG is horrendous. I know he's a big deal, but I wanted to create my own story without constant Keanu intrusions. It's immersion breaking

@planetside2 So nerf the power knife which was only really useful to infils at knife range and leave all the other OHK and OP weapon. Great this was the hint I needed to move on, we're not all heavy and light assault players you know. Different play styles with tradeoffs, was a thing once

Re the tax will disproportionately impact the poor; in a margin industry it will likely be passed on to an already taxed consumer. Tech firms are a tax piniata that govts can't stop swinging at :/
