@ninjacottonball@LordCocaire@hashjenni It's not that hard to meet billionaires if you have a marketable skillet. Most of them mentor talented young founders in silicon valley and lead their seed and series A. If you get into a good incubator like YC or a16z Speedrun, you'll come across many during demo day
@ninjacottonball@LordCocaire@hashjenni I met Keith Rabois when I first moved to Miami and was the first engineering hire at OpenStore, for example. I joined in May 2021.
@ninjacottonball@LordCocaire@hashjenni I've met a few billionaires in my life and they've all been friendly to me, one gave me a job as founding engineer at a startup and many have invested in my friends companies. Poors have only attacked me in the streets, drained my tax dollars, and voted against my interests.
@Arkasiraee@dkb12316528@bscholl Where are you even posting this from? Can't be from Paris, no cell service since cellphone towers can't be constructed from stone blocks
@Arkasiraee@dkb12316528@bscholl But compare us to Europe, where everyone lives in 500+ year old stone castles with no electricity or WiFi and survives on gas lamps and fireplaces. Throwing rocks from your medieval glass house
@intelligentpawg This is like this one girl I found on Instagram who's a Delaware influencer, coincidentally when I was independently shitposting about Delaware. I even got her to post this meme I made.
@LateCoomer@vrexec Or watching your own tax dollars and those of productive EU citizens be spent on violent illegal immigrants who are provided free housing and food while contributing no taxes, so assuming as a productive tech worker who needs none of these services you'll at least not be deported
@RaccoonRailroad @welbeebee Most of the cost is shouldering the debt from the capex from building the rails. Brightline seems profitable in terms of gross margins (e.g. just subtracting the COGS). Since Shinkatsen started with the rails already built, they mostly need to only worry about COGS
@mplpodcast305 What changed with you? I know you had some bad experiences with a Jewish synagogue on 41st back in the day and that left a bitter taste in your mouth. Never considered you an antisemite but I thought you weren't very fond of us - signed a kava friend you can probably guess who
@BryanOnel86 You'd think that a track record would set things straight, but how Crowdstrike still has the same market penetration as it did before the hack
@ZlalakAQ@DalmatianFren@jfischoff We win more Nobel prizes in physics than economics. In fact, we've one 65% of physics Nobel prizes despite being 0.2% of the population. You can thank us for relativity, quantum physics, and computer architecture.
