@bryan_johnson People miss the simple framework:
Get biomarkers tested. Not just cholesterol and sugar.
Make diet and lifestyle changes to Improve your biomarkers.
Whether it was rigged or not is, believe it or not, actually irrelevant. The real conversation that I see as inevitable that no one is ready to have yet is: “What is the synthesis of this debate?”. What comes after this whole era of political warfare between hyper polar parties in a binary system - when reasonable people naturally find compromise and middle ground?
As far as the claims of fraud go, it remains to be seen if any election rigging can be proven or if she took the actions that resulted in numerous charges and convictions without any “moral warrant”. The left can say “never ever question elections (except the 2016), because 2020 was not only secure given the circumstances, but the most secure IN HISTORY”. The right can claim “the whole thing was rigged”. But the problem is that people want to believe these things regardless of any evidence to the contrary.
So far the left has a legal precedence that no case or evidence has been sufficiently brought forth. It’s simply the reality of it. But no one should be so entrenched as to assume that they are absolutely correct by claiming anything one way or the other that it was not rigged or that it was rigged.
@TheLaurenChen I’m going to get roasted for this. I wonder if we can actually repurpose bugs with technology. Kind of like how Bill Gates wants to use them to vaccinate us - But I’m not saying that specifically. What if we use bugs natural purpose for a futuristic design implementation?
Definitely possible. We discovered radio frequencies for communication but they were always there. The more technology advances the more likely it seems like something has been there before or perhaps always been there.
An interesting read is the short story “The Last Question” -Isaac Asimov
Yeah the millennial generation is cooked. Scared to approach or talk to women. Some have careers but some are still trying to navigate getting off frontline customer service with endless loop of certifications or deciding to do school. Many smoke weed and play RuneScape or WOW after work.
Some of us have recovered and making progress but yeah most cooked generation.
@hubermanlab Been following Jeff for years. One of the best fitness influencers of all time. Learned the dragon flag from one his YouTube videos. Also fixed my knee pain from adductor tightness.
I always go with the “I’m looking at my phone”, but I’m instantly ready to break focus for distractions like someone talking to me. The expectation is that you “have to be able to have fun” at a bar but honestly some people just don’t most of the time and that’s okay. But everyone is there for the same reason, to get drunk and meet people - so if you can reconcile that it makes it easier to break the ice and be yourself. But don’t hold it against yourself because you might just be above that layer of reality. Then it’s more fun for it to be spontaneous or like a passing thing.
Recursive Hyperreality leading to temporal compression. A civilization stops colonizing physical space and instead inwardly expands colonizing state-space or simulated depth. Instead of Dyson spheres and galactic empires, advanced civilizations disappear into recursively nested simulated worlds because it is more efficient than physical expansion. Nesting into hyper real virtual realities creating deeper simulations because subjective time expands relative to outer reality, allowing:
-accelerated research,
-cultural evolution,
-AI training,
-or transcendence
Alternatively could be Ontological Descent:
“Descending” through layers of reality toward deeper substrates of existence. Perhaps even enough recursive simulation eventually causes the distinction between simulation and substrate to collapse.
Or:
the deepest layer loops back into the original macro reality, forming a closed ontological fractal.
