EXCITED to unroll this 🧵 on our new story on the metabolic licensing of animal development... How did we even get here..?

What do you do after winning the @NobelPrize? If you're Columbia Professor Michael Woodford, newly named a Nobel laureate in Economic Sciences, you head to Uris Hall and give your students an exam. Woodford entered the classroom to cheers and applause from the students in his course “Cognitive Mechanisms and Economic Behavior.”
“It's just a staggering piece of news,” Woodford said of receiving the honor. He is the 16th Columbian to receive this prize in economics, and the University's 89th Nobel laureate.

@DrMofatteh@EANSonline50 Amazingly fascinating to see that the future of neuroscience and medicine is in the right hands!!! Many congratulations @DrMofatteh!!!
Tremendous honour to receive the Brain & Spine Best Reviewer of the Year Award at #EANS2026 in Hamburg, presented by Editor-in-Chief Prof Wilco Peul and @EANSonline50 President Prof Francesco Sala. Grateful for the recognition and excited for what lies ahead!

It's so great to see efforts to begin unifying thoughts and findings on senescence, a field that has remained spread across multiple disciplines. Good job @NatureCellBio for taking the initiative, and @EnginLaboratory and colleagues for their efforts putting this together!
Thank you to Nature Cell Biology for inviting me to contribute to the Viewpoint “Goals and Challenges for Senescence Research”. It was a pleasure to discuss the challenges in senescence research and to exchange perspectives on where the field is heading.

Excited to announce that the Rikki Garner lab has opened its doors in beautiful Austin, TX! Our interdisciplinary lab @UTAustin@UT_MBS investigates tissue fluidity as a universal physical regulator of multicellular patterning in health and disease. https://t.co/HvLRbDqrxu 1/n
How are mitotic chromosomes built? 🏗️ Our Review @TrendsGenetics revisits the classical chromosome scaffold model and connects it to condensins, topoIIα, and physical forces. We propose interphase chromatin domains as “building blocks”🧩of chromosomes:
