@NBPAUK @yvonnecoghill1 What a great idea to get the NHS to self-regulate and become an inclusive organisation. Only one small problem with that idea, self-regulation is why we are in this mess. Time to put up your hand and admit the NHS is institutionally racist and ask for help.
@NHSEngland "health and high quality care for ALL" it is easy to make a statement but a totally different matter to carry out the action. Unless we stop taking and start acting, nothing is going to change and inequalities will remain.@profseanduffy @bthftcancer @GilkarIshtiaq

My interview in the @Telegraph today on how we’re putting prevention at the heart of our health and social care system to improve the health of the nation for the long term
Had a coffee with my good friend and ex cricket teammate Lord Kamlesh Patel, talked about the "good old days" and then about the inequalities in cancer care.@LordKPatel @profseanduffy @GilkarIshtiaq @HazelMaryTaylor@NHS_RobW@ASIANBME_CANCER@JulieRSH @CampbellMcNeil1
@behalalorg We are not used to talking about cancer in general, this is amplified as a problem with some of our south Asian communities. The benefits of sharing your journey with friends and family who care are immense and need to be encouraged.
@clareenston Great work Clare we are still not reaching ALL our communities. Our method of engagement are very draconian and when new ideas are put forward they are not been considered. I f you truly are interested in hearing ALL voices please contact me. [email protected]
@profseanduffy Great work Sean, it is extremely important we hear the voices of ALL marginalised groups, the NHS is after all an inclusive service. We should make greater effort to remove disparities and bring at least equality, to the service we provide. @Cancer52org @LordKPatel @NHS_RobW
@profseanduffy @WYHpartnership I know how it feels, after caring for and loosing both parents to cancer, I understand first hand the difficulties, which are compounded when, for cultural reasons you don't have a choice and your own health has to take a back seat.@shutcake @LordKPatel @GilkarIshtiaq @NHS_RobW
