@opentensor's Q1 2026 brought serious institutional validation. Nvidia staked $420M in $TAO with 77% locked. Polychain Capital added $200M in exposure. The network generated $43M in real AI usage revenue last quarter, driven by functional subnets like Chutes.

Both @Grayscale and @BitwiseInvest have spot $TAO ETF filings live, with decisions expected later in 2026. Subnet capacity is also doubling from 128 to 256 to absorb new builders.

Just In: Hackers minted 1 billion DOT tokens on the Ethereum mainnet and then sold them off.

According to Certik, the attack was primarily due to a Hyperbridge gateway vulnerability, which allowed attackers to forge messages and manipulate the administrator of a Polkadot token contract on Ethereum, profiting approximately $237k.
