I always appreciate the opportunity to participate in the epidemic intelligence service conference. This represents some of the hardest working least recognized public health professionals in the world.
NIH director admits after being grilled by @SenSanders: 1) The best way to stop the measles epidemic is to vaccinate your kids against measles. 2) no single vaccine causes autism. RFK Jr is wrong.
๐จKids do NOT get 72 vaccines! Per CDCโs actual childhood schedule:
-Even counting every recommended dose + yearly flu shots, total comes to~54 doses by age 18.
-The โ72โ only appears if you:
โข Count combo vaccines multiple times
โข Add every rare/optional dose
Facts > fear.
Over 12 hours after the terrorist attack at CDC headquarters, reportedly linked to vaccine grievances, and @SecKennedy has yet to condemn this horrific act. How one leads in a crisis matters, and silence speaks volumes. The public is watching.
@vtmedic511 The professional evolution of EMS has focused primarily on the patient which is honorable but clearly not sustainable. If EMS is an expectation of communities local funding is the long term solution.
@GregoryScaduto Sadly not isolated to this specific area. This type of inhumane conduct occurs far more frequently than the media covers. Check out โFeather Alertโ from the San Diego area and see a distinction in alerting.
@atutruckers Consider a retrospective analysis of commercial transportation incidents during that period & subrogate damages. The economic & employment burden is real, the potential loss of life & harm is tragic.
