We are excited to share a recent project from the lab where we took a look at different paths to AD pathology development, identifying multiple distinct trajectories: https://t.co/j6oXjFg9dT (1/6)
@TLAmphib Amazing job, Tom! Getting this project to the 11 year mark is a huge accomplishment. Not to mention all the great collaborations you built along the way and the road blocks you navigated. Congratulations!
@Chatter_Nilovna@javirudolph Agree. Another reason to not lead with your salary expectations is that the same job title can have very different responsibilities at different companies and responsibility should drive salary. After interviewing and asking questions, you should have a much better sense.
@RachelPenczy I’m in the left academia group. I still get review requests, but it this point I’m far enough removed from the state of the field that I generally decline.
We're hiring! Looking for someone who has strong statistical chops, loves to learn, drive collaborations, and build cool models. If you are interested, I’d love to talk! https://t.co/krnTkwEyke
Super exciting week to have two papers finally come out. First, #salamander phenological variability and links to demography out in Oecologia. Thx to all the #semlitschlab co-authors! @tagrittenhouse@djhocking @Julia_E_Earl, Twitterless Mike & Jarrett https://t.co/eRkAx09ppF
A good way to end my first year as #newPI with notification that our (w/ @BBQ_Ecologist and @JJBurkhart) most recent paper on predation and competition w/ ringed and marbled #salamander larvae from our @SERDP_ESTCP project is out at Freshwater Biology

New paper out in @ASNAmNat with @RyanAMartin!
We use dragonflies to test hypotheses about when natural selection in one life-cycle stage will affect evolution in other life-cycle stages.

It's here 🙆♀️ Really excited to have this chapter out in the world! We used a target neighbor exp to look at effects of climate change induced phenology and body size shifts on wood frogs and toads. Shifts affected post-morph competition but unexpectedly. https://t.co/PVpLgLjAX0
