Fischback’s group have shown that obesity induced tumor-like ECM characteristics by altering the adipocyte stem cell fate. The group now uses ECM deposited by obese ASCs to simulate malignant behaviour in breast cancer cells - all due to mechanoresponses. #BIC2108
