Google & YouTube Are Failing The Creators Who Built Them.

Creators built YouTube.
Creators made the videos.
Creators brought the audience.
Creators brought the revenue.
Creators kept people coming back.

Yet YouTube is becoming worse for both creators and viewers.

There are ads all over the platform. YouTube is becoming unwatchable.

YouTube is turning into a money grab platform.

There are scams and inappropriate content all over YouTube.

People report that content and it still remains on the platform.

But content people actually enjoy gets removed, and creators people actually watch get banned.

For example, me: I had an 11 month clean history on YouTube. My content was clean, and during those 11 months I never received a warning or a strike.

THEN, FOR 5 DAYS, I made YouTube Shorts telling people to follow me on Roblox so I could help them get an in game item.

I ONLY SHOWED MY ROBLOX USERNAME IN THE VIDEOS.

I NEVER SHOWED THE ROBLOX APP.
I NEVER DROPPED A LINK.
I NEVER FORCED ANYONE TO LEAVE YOUTUBE.
I NEVER DEMANDED ANYONE GO TO ROBLOX.

I simply told people they could follow me on Roblox if they wanted help with the in game item.

IT WAS AN OPTION. NOT A DEMAND TO LEAVE YOUTUBE.

I GOT BANNED FOR LIFE BECAUSE I TOLD USERS TO FOLLOW ME ON ROBLOX.

I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO MAKE CONTENT ON YOUTUBE AGAIN BECAUSE OF THIS.

20 YEARS FROM NOW, I WILL STILL BE BANNED because I told users to follow me on Roblox.

ALL MY CHANNELS. ALL MY CONTENT. EVERYTHING GONE INSTANTLY BECAUSE OF THIS ONE MISTAKE.

A 25K CHANNEL. A 40K CHANNEL I BUILT IN 5 MONTHS. AND THE REST OF MY CHANNELS. GONE. WIPED FOREVER.

I never got a warning.
Never got a strike.
Never got told to stop.

WTF? HOW IS THIS A LIFETIME BAN?

THERE IS 10X WORSE HAPPENING ON YOUTUBE THAN THAT.

Creators who make the smallest mistake or MAKE NO MISTAKE AT ALL can get heavily punished or permanently terminated.

Years of work can disappear instantly.

NO HUMAN REVIEW.
NO REAL SUPPORT.
NO CHANCE TO CORRECT ANYTHING.

Just automated systems making decisions while creators are left dealing with the consequences.

And instead of fixing these problems, YOUTUBE KEEPS CHANGING THINGS THAT DON’T NEED CHANGING.

YouTube and Google are failing the very creators who built the platform.

YOU BUILT THIS PLATFORM ON CREATORS. STOP TREATING US LIKE WE’RE DISPOSABLE.

A month ago, I made a post about this case. I never tagged him, and I even blurred everything so nobody could identify or find his account.

Fast forward to yesterday…

After TeamYouTube told me my case is under review, he found my post and commented:

“Stop begging, they’re not gonna give it back.”

Yet in the screenshots he provided to TeamYouTube, you can see channel terminations in 2024, 2025, and 2026, including spam/scam and circumvention actions. His 2024 and 2025 channels remained terminated, while three of his 2026 circumvention-related channels were reinstated.

Even after those reinstatements on May 19, he was still asking TeamYouTube in July to restore additional channels from his 2024 and 2025 terminations.

Now he’s telling other creators to stop fighting for their channels.

Most creators don’t get the amount of chances he got let alone a chance at all. Yet after repeated terminations, he still had some of his channels restored. Now he’s telling everyone else to give up.

This isn’t just about one creator it’s about YouTube’s consistency. Why do some creators get multiple opportunities and additional reviews while others don’t even get one?

YouTube, do better. Consistency matters.

🚨 STOP YOUTUBE MASS BANS

Some creators are being terminated without doing anything wrong.

Others make a mistake and receive no warning or strikes just an instant termination.

We are not perfect. Everyone makes mistakes.

WE ARE CREATORS, NOT PRISONERS.

Why should one mistake result in a creator being banned for life, losing years of work, and being unable to return?

A mistake should be an opportunity to learn and correct the behavior not an automatic lifetime sentence.

And why is AI deciding whether a channel stays terminated?

AI shouldn’t have the final say over someone’s livelihood. People make a living on YouTube, and AI can take that away and keep it away. A human should make the final decision.

And one thing that really pisses me off:

YouTube terminates your channel and says “the decision is final.”

Then tells you to “read our Community Guidelines.”

What’s the point of telling us to read the Community Guidelines if we’re already banned for life?

Give creators a chance to learn from the guidelines before permanently removing them.
