When are we as professionsals of #nursing and #midwifery
going to address corporate psychopathy and organisational narcissism?
In order to do so, we need to rid our professions of abusive, narcissistic leaders who climb to the top of organisations and surround themselves with people like them.
Some of them are quite charismatic, outwardly pretend to be compassionate and bully/terrorise those they lead.
I have sometimes described someone I thought I knew was caring, and those who they work with/lead/manage would respond: "Uhmm, you don't work with/for them?"
It's time for introspection.
I truly hope what is happening with the NMC creates a domino effect that disrupts the status quo. What we have CANNOT continue, for the sake of those we serve, nurses and midwives, nursing and midwifery.
In the interim, please use your voice, support the petition below.
(Support from the public and colleagues outside nursing and midwifery also appreciated).

Challenge facing General Practice is core funding , huge disparity acrossNI, outdated formula not fit for purpose . We are seeing in contract Handbacks Practices no longer financially feasible. There needs to be a levelling up and then proper investment for sustainability

Gorgeous day for a nurses’ strike outside Great Ormond St Hospital. So grateful for their unmatched care & skill. Now let’s get them the fucking pay rise they deserve & that the nation can *easily* afford. Austerity is a choice so change your mind or get in the bin!✊🏼❤️@theRCN
Happy Retirement to our Marina, 38years with the trust and an absolute legend, she will be missed a lot by our District Nursing Family Limavady. Good luck and all the best in the future Marina 🥰
