"A preventable, predictable famine."
What else must Israel do before the world acts and stop this genocide?!
Statements released by world leaders have/will NOT stop Israel, until serious actions are taken. Enough is enough!
#GazaGenocide#GazaStarving
The Gaza Famine is the world’s famine. A preventable, predictable famine. Enough. Ceasefire. Open all crossings, north and south. Let us get food in, unimpeded and at massive scale.
No one is spared! Not children, innocent women and men, journalists, humanitarian workers, medical workers; not anyone!
How much more can this be allowed to continue?
#GazaHolocaust#GazaGenocide#CeaseFireNow
The targeted killing of Anas al-Sharif and five other journalists on Sunday means at least 242 Palestinian journalists have been killed by Israeli forces since the beginning of October 2023.
No conflict in modern history has seen a higher number of journalists killed.
Israel continues to break every rule of international law with impunity. War crimes and a genocide are being broadcasted live in front of our eyes.
How much longer must Palestinians suffer before the world acts?
End the genocide and lift the blockade.
#GazaGenocide#Gaza
Israel has assassinated Al Jazeera correspondent Anas al-Sharif and four other staff in a targeted attack on a tent in Gaza City, taking the total number of journalists killed since October 7, 2023 to 269.

The brutal war in Sudan continues to cause unimaginable suffering. We can't stay silent. Let's amplify their voices and demand action now.
#Sudan#SudanWar#HumanitarianCrisis
Pain, Suffering and Starvation of Africans should NOT be normalised and ignored. Speak on Sudan! Don’t stop. This is a man made humanitarian crisis and the world is doing nothing to stop it. #SudanCrisis#sudanstarving
Today, we hosted a consultative workshop to discuss a review of the Human Rights Commission of Sierra Leone Act, 2004. This review is necessary to broaden the scope of human rights promotion and protection in the country, and strengthen the Sierra Leone Human Rights Commission @humanrightsl to better prevent and respond to human rights violations and abuses. In our justice sector reform strategy, we have made a commitment to strengthen adherence to human rights across all facets of the justice sector. While the HRCSL has consistently fulfilled its Grade A Status under the Paris Principles, we acknowledge that the Commission needs to be strengthened to maximize its impact, and be able to meet the demands of modern-day human rights promotion and protection.
🔴 Hunger is widespread in Gaza and people are dying.
🔴 Deadly malnutrition among children is reaching catastrophic levels.
🔴 Food is dangerously scarce, and clean water is below emergency levels .
🔴 Aid is severely restricted and dangerous to access.
This is a man-made disaster.
Enough is enough. The United Nations must be allowed to deliver aid of all types at scale to families, wherever they are.
The @LemkinInstitute is calling on every leader in the world to step in immediately with measures that ensure food and water gets into Gaza right now.
No more discussions, meetings, reports, sessions, summits.
GET FOOD AND WATER INTO GAZA NOW.
IF YOU HAVE THE POWER, YOU MUST USE IT.
"No one is spared: caretakers in #Gaza are also in need of care.
Doctors, nurses, journalists and humanitarians are hungry.
Many are now fainting due to hunger and exhaustion while performing their duties: reporting atrocities or alleviating some of the suffering.
Meanwhile, seeking food has become as deadly as the bombardments.
More than 1,000 starving people reported killed since end of May.
The so called “GHF” distribution schemes is a sadistic death trap.
Snipers open fire randomly on crowds as if they are given a licence to kill.
A massive hunt of people, in total impunity.
This cannot be our new norm, humanitarian assistance is not the job of mercenaries.
The UN and its humanitarian partners have the expertise, experience and available ressources to provide safe, dignified and at scale assistance.
We have proven it time and again during the last ceasefire.
End this abomination.
#Ceasefirenow"

Enough. We demand rapid, safe, and unimpeded access to starving civilians in Gaza.
We have a plan. We have thousands of trucks of food at the border. Let us in. Let us work.

“We will not be silent in front of the man-made humanitarian catastrophe that is taking place before our eyes in Gaza.”
Joint statement by the heads of government of 🇮🇪 🇮🇸 🇱🇺 🇲🇹 🇳🇴 🇸🇮 🇪🇸 on Palestine.
For every single voice that you seek to silence, a million will speak in their place.
My brief address at the National March on Washington today. This was dedicated to our brave student activists arbitrarily detained by ICE at the behest of Israel.
It is NOT antisemitic to say Palestinians have a right to live
It is NOT antisemitic to say Palestinian children should not be murdered
It is NOT antisemitic to condemn the targeting of doctors
It is NOT antisemitic to call out Israel when it is committing war crimes!
Limp bodies of babies and toddlers. The shrieks of fathers frantically holding their dead children.
The suffering in Gaza is unconscionable, and the US is complicit.
We must return to the January ceasefire agreement, halt all offensive weapons to the Israeli military, and use every diplomatic tool to save lives.
The silence in the world media and from world leaders is beyond insanity. Anyone with an ounce of dignity, justice and humanity would be raging about what happened in Gaza in the last few weeks, which has included:
- 322 children killed and 609 wounded according to UNICEF
- No aid allowed in since 2 March
- 15 paramedics and rescue workers “executed with their hand tied” and buried in mass grave
- Israel has seized more land and increased illegal occupation
I guess we have now accepted this as the norm but NO this is NOT normal and it is NOT acceptable. If we don’t stand against this in whatever way we can, including the bare minimum by raising our voice, then we have NO humanity.
This morning, I was honored to receive a courtesy visit from my counterpart- the Attorney General and Minister of Justice of The Gambia, Mr. Dawda Jallow. We discussed issues of common interests to our respective countries- constitutional reform, elections management, justice sector reform, etc. #TheGambia and #SierraLeone have been longstanding friends and there is a lot we continue to learn from each other.
