I raised Manipur issue at Parliament session today's afternoon ie The 10th Aug 2023 .Hon'ble Chairman switched it off my microphone while I just began to speak.I continued my speech without microphone in the midst roarings of Opp MP's.
Back in the 90s and more importantly we’ve secured our position in Pot 2 for the World Cup Qualifiers draw 👏💙
Long way to go still, this is just the start 🇮🇳 @IndianFootball
The horrific video of women being paraded naked and sexually assaulted in Manipur some months ago is one more confirmation of how unspeakably shocking the ongoing tragedy in that state is (and has been for nearly three months). Parliament must debate the situation today & the government’s handling of it. The Prime Minister’s silence is utterly incomprehensible. If there was ever an occasion for an anguished appeal from the prime ministerial “bully pulpit” calling for peace & harmony in our country, Manipur has provided it. Why is the most eloquent orator in our country bafflingly silent?
Brutal violence in Manipur not only affect the neighbouring state but even the whole country. Situations seem to have worsened!
I was really shocked and shaken to see the video that goes viral. The shocking video of the sexual assault of our two Vaiphei women in Manipur is brutal, merciless, heinous, despicable and complete inhuman! The whole region needs a permanent solution for the great problem Manipur is having which can really be solved only by the Central Govt.
I re-quote - "Many lives have been lost, bloodshed all over, physical torture & the victims are looking for refuge wherever possible. With no iota of doubt, those victims are my kith and kin, my own blood and should we quieten the situation by just being silent? I don't think so!"
SILENCE is not an OPTION!
I would like to call for immediate restoration of peace and normalcy. It is incumbent and imperative upon the Manipur Govt. and the Central Govt. to look for immediate ways for peace restoration. Therfore, I urge Manipur Chief Minister @NBirenSingh and Hon'ble PM of India Shri @narendramodi Ji to take immediate action and to bring PERPETRATORS to JUSTICE!
Olivia Chongloi and Florence Hangsing were another two kuki-zo woman who were victims of r@pe after the fake news of meitei women being r@ped first circulated.
They were originally from Khopibung Kangpokpi Village. In order to support themselves they had worked at a car wash in Konung Mamang,Imphal.
On the 5th of May the two girls were gagged and dragged after being identified by the meitei mobs. They were confined inside a room from 5 p.m to 7 p.m. the meitei women handed over the young women to the mob, and even urged the crowd to assault them “as a retaliation”
The family said that the girls’ co-workers could do nothing to help the two young women but heard them screaming and pleading for release from outside the locked room, indicating the possibility they were raped, molested, and tortured. When the room was finally opened after 7 p.m, it was filled with a mixture of the victims’ blood and hair. They had succumbed to the brutality. The victims’ parents were told that the bodies of their daughters were in the morgue at JNIMS. Their bodies still lay there even today.
May their sould rest in peace 🤍

The experiment of hate in Manipur will spread everywhere if people who are incharge are not held accountable and heads have to roll ! We the indigenous people stand with our sisters who have suffered this in solidarity
Braving the monsoon, Kuki Zo people march for justice and total separation from biased state of Manipur. Punishing rapists alone won’t suffice. It needs political settlement.
@BDUTT @KaranThapar_TTP @PMOIndia @blsanthosh @narendramodi
Who would like to live together with such hyena hounds-like people? Ask yourselves. The horrendous inhuman cruelty on Kuki Zo women is worse than murder. Separate administration at the earliest for Kuki Zo before more demanization occurs. For humanity’s sake.
