நிகழ்ச்சியின் இறுதியில் தேசிய கீதம் இசைக்கப்படும். அதுதான் வழக்கமான நடைமுறை; பொருத்தமான நடைமுறை.

தமிழ்நாட்டில் தமிழக வெற்றிக் கழகத்தின் தலைமையில் அமைந்திருக்கும் புதிய அரசுக்கும் வழக்கமாக உள்ள இந்த நடைமுறையில் எந்தவிதமான மாற்றுக் கருத்தும் இல்லை. இப்படியான சூழலில், இன்று தமிழக பொறுப்பு ஆளுநர் திரு. ராஜேந்திர விஸ்வநாத் அர்லேகர் அவர்கள் தலைமையில் நடைபெற்ற முதலமைச்சர் உள்ளிட்ட அமைச்சர்கள் பதவியேற்பு விழாவில், முதலில், வந்தே மாதரமும், பிறகு தேசிய கீதமும், மூன்றாவதாக தமிழ்தாய் வாழ்த்தும் இசைக்கப்பட்டது. இந்தப் புதிய நடைமுறை தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கு ஒவ்வாதது. தாய்த் தமிழ்நாட்டில், தமிழ்த்தாய் வாழ்த்துப் பாடல் மூன்றாவதாக இசைக்கப்படுவதில், தமிழக வெற்றிக் கழகத்தின் தலைமையில் அமைந்திருக்கும் தமிழ்நாடு அரசுக்கு உடன்பாடில்லை.

இதுகுறித்து நாங்கள் ஆளுநர் தரப்பிடம் வலியுறுத்தியபோது, ஒன்றிய அரசின் புதிய சுற்றறிக்கையின்படி செயல்படவேண்டிய பொறுப்பு ஆளுநருக்கு இருப்பதாகத் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டது. அதையொட்டி தவிர்க்க முடியாத சூழலில், தமிழ்த்தாய் வாழ்த்துப் பாடல் மூன்றாவது பாடலாக ஒலிக்கப்பட்டது. ஆனால், இனிவரும் காலங்களில் இந்தப் புதிய நடைமுறை பின்பற்றப்படாது. மாறாக, இதற்கு முன்பிருந்த நடைமுறைப்படியே, நிகழ்ச்சியின் தொடக்கத்தில் தமிழ்த்தாய் வாழ்த்தும், நிகழ்ச்சியின் இறுதியில் தேசிய கீதமும் இசைக்கப்படும்!

தமிழ்நாட்டில் மட்டுமல்ல, இந்தியாவில் உள்ள அனைத்து மாநிலங்களிலும், அந்தந்த மாநில மொழி வாழ்த்துப் பாடலே நிகழ்ச்சியின் தொடக்கத்தில் இசைக்கப்பட வேண்டும். அதற்கு ஒன்றிய அரசு உரிய நடவடிக்கைகளை மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும். ஒட்டுமொத்த தமிழக மக்களின் உணர்வும் ஒருமித்த எண்ணமும் அதுதான். எங்களுடைய உறுதியான நிலைப்பாடும் அதுதான்.
