وبهدف التغطية على فشلهم، ادعت صفحات تابعة للمرتزقة سيطرتهم على مساحات واسعة من منبج، هذه المعلومات كاذبة، حيث تواصل قواتنا مهامها بالطرق والأساليب العسكرية المختلفة في حماية المنطقة وأهلها.

وبعد فشل المرتزقة، لجأ الاحتلال التركي إلى قصف مناطق في المدينة بالطيران الحربي، حيث استهدفت مؤسسات خدمية وإدارية.
