But did you know that 7 new board members were welcomed last night to the board who were all but one Trans Alt members and/or fans and voted for the bike lanes. Cute since they were not there for any of the prior meetings. But hey that wasn't the point. I think they call that stacking the board but what do I know.
They were appointed by Brad Hoylman another TA fan. And of course you must know that Ken Coughlin IS on the board of Trans Alt for many years. Quite convenient to have been made Transportation Co-Chair of CB7. You can't make this stuff up. @nyc_evsa @AFineBlogger @infopobn @CycleSafe18

CB7 has morphed into the most authoritarian community board I have witnessed in my 40 years in NY. They refused to allow the head of NYC-E-Vehicle Safety Alliance into the meeting last night because they said she was late! Numerous people asked for her to be admitted including some community board members and she was still refused!! There were plenty of seats available. They barred her from the meeting on the 72 Street 2-lane bike freeway!!
I think they're taking notes from Trump! But in doing so they have awakened the sleeping giant. Hey, CB7 there are nearly 1500 members in EVSA-keep it up with your well known romance with Transportation Alternatives. Everyone knows the deal!! After several EVSA members talked to the media they appeared to be afraid of how this would look and gave Janet 1 minute to speak on line. This crash video from richie_engineer on Instagram shows why e-vehicles + two-way bike lanes are such a menace. Richie ended up with a cracked clavicle, the unidentified e-biker sped off telling him to "go cry about it" and he had to hire PI to track him down to sue him.

Stop the unnecessary deaths and alarming number of severe injuries and PASS PRISCILLA'S LAW that would license and register e-bikes!! New Jersey managed it but apparently New York can't! Two people lost their lives last week in a bike lane!!
