What a great loss for our earthly family, but a immense gain to our heavenly family. Chuck has received a new calling and accepted it. He’s now testifying and teaching of Christ to the spirits that need a strong witness. You will be greatly missed Brother Chuck
This sucks man.
Thanks for being my friend Chuck. It’s impossible to do, but I’ll be damned if we don’t do our best to pick up the slack.
Rest easy buddy @RestoredTruth8
No being can thoroughly learn himself, without understanding more or less of the things of God: neither can any being learn and understand the things of God, without learning himself: he must learn himself, or he never can learn God.
The Bible is mine, and I am not prepared to have you rob me of it, without my consent. The doctrine in it is mine, which I firmly believe. I believe the Father begat the Son, and gave him to be a propitiation for the sins of the world. I believe he died for the redemption of man.
The kings and queens I am looking upon today will belong to that class; they will be the fathers and mothers to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. There are many sheep on the earth that we have not yet found.
As we repent, strive to remember and honor our covenants, and prepare throughout the week to participate in the ordinance of the sacrament, we can be blessed to always retain a remission of our sins through the redeeming and saving power of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The partaking of the bread and the water does not remit sins. It is the Lord Jesus Christ who forgives us of sin as we repent and come unto Him.
All public events in the Intermountain West, Missouri, and Illinois, should begin with a land acknowledgment to Deseret and the Latter-day Saints.
Especially the areas where we have been displaced.
Let’s be consistent with all cultures.
To my Latter-day Saint ancestors,
Who settled a land mass almost twice the size of the original 13 colonies,
In a part of the world so barren and dry that most thought it was impossible.
Who faced extermination orders from governments, and fled from state to state,
Fled murderous mobs,
Went to war with the United States Army, and won…
I thank you for your sacrifices and bravery, and praise God for your preservation.
Happy Pioneer Day.
