Prediction: the same way that there are fitness, meditation, or nutrition influencers today, there will soon be sleep influencers.
Instead of sharing their diets or workouts, they'll share their sleep data, routines, and supplements.
#TheNicotineTest has begun.
21mg box of 30 patches off of Amazon. Sefudun
Why?
These can be cut in half.
Then folded it in half(25%dose), left the backing on and I stuck a dose on with medical tape.
Day1, 13:40= about 5.5mg.
Now to start tracking with @BearableApp
One observation is that 1 week ago, I had an emotionally grueling day, which gives me the worst PEM the next day. This time, I had mild PEM 2 days after. I was able to realize it because of @BearableApp because otherwise I attributed to a normal fluctuation, but Sx tracked.
not sponsored but like — I’m testing out the app Bearable to track my symptoms as I edge towards diagnosis, and wow this app is really great. you can add symptoms multiple times a day, and add custom symptoms, and mood, and add in what kind of food you ate…
@remissionbiome uses @BearableApp to track all aspects of the protocol and the impact on symptoms. It’s a great tool to discover trends and immediate implications. Very customizable and user friendly. You can have generalizations or get very granular.
I keep forgetting to share this app for my disabled/spoonie friends. It’s a good way to track your symptoms & moods and you can track goals & stuff too. It’s called Bearable & it’s free or there’s the premium version which apparently this gives a discount?

Do you know what a healthy shit looks like? One of the best biomarkers is your poop.
Your goal is to have a bowel movement at least once a day and it should be a long soft 'snake' - no cracks or pellets.
Track your bowel movements @BearableApp and figure this shit out. 1/n
@evielync I once tried doing that with a Google Form -> Google Sheets flow, to visualize my energy levels. But I wasn't consistent enough to actually fill out the form.
Now I just use a simple app called Bearable (@BearableApp) to track my mood & energy.
Use good trackers like @ouraring and @Garmin (hopefully both) and do @BearableApp tracking daily.
You should see clear signals of an improvement in symptoms or more stability in symptoms. 2/n
Been using @BearableApp to keep track of my health, and recently tried a sleep + breathing experiment. Didn't see much of an improvement but I think there's potential there. I will definitely be trying another soon, perhaps with longer meditation.
@remissionbiome I have my @biomesight kit. I’ll be sending that off this week.
I’ve added more granular data to @BearableApp, including medication (so I can time stamp it) and getting in the habit of filling it out more than once or twice a day.
And I am collecting first stand HR data.
Great to see people running experiments using https://t.co/thyAJesXzq!
We're on a mission to help people reclaim control over their health, especially those with misunderstood health issues who are trying lots of different habits and treatments all the time.

@gregisenberg This was conducted using https://t.co/thyAJesXzq
Great to see all the experiments people have been running! We want to help people to take control of their health and this is a great use case :)
@chydorina@mildTin Great advice from an expert! I am grateful to know people like @chydorina 😊 through twitter.
@tessfalor also recommends tracking things with an app like @BearableApp to see mid-term and long-term trends clearly and objectively.
as you know from PEM, what you did the day before could be totally meaningless...and this applies much more broadly to responses...sometimes it was a slow build up over days..over weeks or months..
The only way to start getting a handle on this is proper symptom tracking like with @BearableApp
I started using @BearableApp and paid for the year subscription… let me tell you - I’ve never felt so organized and aware of what’s going on with me daily, because I am simply trying to get through each day individually
