@ShaunLintern@KirstieMAllsopp Absolutely! I bet if they tracked back that is when things started to go awry. It all became about degrees and getting midwives in quickly. So short sited. Not looking at the bigger picture.
@kelvmackenzie Or get a modern car. Mine constantly beeps at me every time I go above the speed limit. Drives me mad, but is very enlightening as to the constant change in speed limit changes.
@Type1Tony Had a similar night. Alarm rang, downed some Jelly Babies and went back to sleep. Apparently been in the red all night. Bang goes the stats on my hypo free month ๐ค
@DiabeticDadUK Whenever ambulance staff attend incidents one of the first things they check is sugar levels. It should be an easy thing for a Gp to do. As quick as checking ears, throat and chest. #LylasLaw
@Type1Tony An early morning swim is a must. It sets you up for the day. Cold water swimming too is very popular for depression etc. Though finding a decent spot in the UK is problematic. Enjoy the holiday.
@DiabeticDadUK I didnโt runout but for the first time in 10 years on insulin forgot it when out with friends. Gardening club trip out for brunch. Discovered after Iโd ordered ๐คฆโโ๏ธ had to cancel and sit with just a black coffee.
@Type1Tony I think itโs that you go in full of anticipation, but no matter how good the results are-and well done to you on yours- you still come out with Type 1 and life just carries on the same. You never get discharged.
@AbiLStephenson@StephenORahilly In the later pregnancies we had moved to a city where hospital admissions and a drip were expected treatment. I always maintained if the male species had to go through something like this the human race would die out.
@AbiLStephenson@StephenORahilly As someone who struggled through this in the early 80s without the benefit of hospital admissions I would quite happily have died. Luckily went to term and produced a wonderful human who is now a father himself. 4 subsequent pregnancies failed at 8-16 weeks. Couldnโt do it again.
@Kidfears99@hobbs_joe34741 @benjixtxx @DrNeilStone Just to point out many many people get a type 1 diagnosis later in life. Your pancreas can fail any time just like any other organ. So yes all you critics out there it could be coming for you. Type 1 At 54.
