nac girls, my roommate and i were both approached by the same man at kroger on north street last night, he tried to get me alone and away from my boyfriend and attempted to get personal information from her (address, make of car, etc.) cont.⬇️
@chaotictransfem Maybe for you it’s horrifying. For me it would be a blessing. I wouldnt want to recreate a single thing in my life. I’d go down a completely new path, avoiding anything that had to do with my old life.
I am not at all trying to diminish what’s happening there but do Gen Z realize there are actually many atrocities in this world, including tons happening here and not everything has to be tied to the one you’ve made your personality?
no one ever wants to hang out anymore like ik everyone is tired cuz of work and school but like why can't we just sit and watch tv and make occasional commentary or smth. bring back the casual hang not everything has to be A Thing
Fun fact: this is because most of us were heavily influenced by kid’s shows that had stricter educational rules. They taught us that learning/educating were fun and good for you. Real fun fact, learning every day actually increases brain elasticity and general cognitive fitness.
i love this because a few years ago people were talking about "u don't owe anyone anything" and now everyone is talking about how hard it is to make friends as an adult, but they don't see the correlation and that's why they're mad at this video
People who don't put in the effort about to get mad about this, but yeah if you're not reaching out, making plans, showing up, don't expect the closeness to just exist! A lot of life and personal growth happens in a year, even in months. If we were close 2 years ago but you haven't made the effort and we don't talk, you don't know me anymore! That's now a different version of who I once was, and otherwise you have a parasocial relationship with me based only in what you see me selectively post on social media. Had to have reaaally honest convos surrounding this concept when I got married so I stand by that, ten toes down!
routine. you’re the parent. they can whine all they want to but unless you consistently enforce a routine they can’t & won’t do it. my son has been on a bedtime routine since he was a baby. by 8 he’s asleep & the house is clean.
There's something called "paralysis by analysis" it happens when you spend so much time weighing your options, searching for the
"perfect" way or overthinking every detail that you end up doing nothing at all. The fear of making the wrong move replaces the courage to simply start
