Those were the words 17 year old Mohammad Matin Hosseini whispered when his father finally reached him.

Matin was an industrial electrical engineering student, a football player, and worked with his father in the family business.

On January 9, he left home saying he was going to the gym.

Hours later, three strangers knocked on his family’s door and told them he had been shot.

When his parents found him, he was still alive.

He had been hiding behind parked cars with several others. As he raised his head to see whether the security forces had left, a sniper shot him above the eyebrow.

Matin fell into a coma and was declared brain dead seven days later.
