One of the most important things for all guys to learn is that being nice and helpful does not mean that you are owed love and reward. If you are only doing these things because you expect a debt in return, that is coercion and manipulation.

All guys have to learn this, and we have to learn how to accept rejection with grace and dignity. There's nothing women fear more than a spiteful "nice" guy who can't handle being told, "no."
