సౌత్ సినిమాల్లో.. ముఖ్యంగా తెలుగులో నటిస్తే మంచి ఫేమ్ వస్తుందని, బాగా డబ్బులిస్తారని.. ఇక్కడ ఛాన్సులిస్తే మహాప్రసాదం అనుకుంటూ సినిమాలు చేస్తారు. డైరెక్టర్లు కోరినట్లు, ఏమాత్రం మొహమాటం లేకుండా స్క్రీన్ మీద కనిపిస్తారు. ఇక్కడ నటించినంత కాలం చిలక పలుకులు పలుకుతారు. కానీ బాలీవుడ్లోకి వెళ్లగానే ఉన్నట్లుండి సన్యాసం పుచ్చుకున్నట్లు మాట్లాడతారు. గతంలో #Ileana, #TapseePannu లాంటి వాళ్లు ఇలాగే ప్లేటు తిప్పారు. ఇప్పుడు #JahnaviKapoor వంతు.

అప్పటికేదో బాలీవుడ్ పరమ పవిత్రమైన ఇండస్ట్రీ అయినట్లు.. అక్కడ కళాత్మక సినిమాలే తీసేటట్లు.. హీరోయిన్లను ఏమాత్రం ఆబ్జెక్టిఫై చేయనట్లు.. వాళ్లను చాలా సంప్రదాయబద్ధంగా చూపించేటట్లు.. ఏం కబుర్లు చెబుతార్రా నాయనా?

మన పెదరాయుడు #KaranJohar తీసే సినిమాలు, తన టాక్ షోలో వేసే ప్రశ్నల రోత గురించి ఎవ్వరికీ తెలియదా? ఈ కరణ్ తీసిన ‘రాకీ ఔర్ రాణి కి ప్రేమ్ కహాని’లో చేసిన స్పెషల్ సాంగ్‌లో జాన్విని ఎలా చూపించాడు? అందులో కెమెరా యాంగిల్స్ మాటేంటి? అది ఆబ్జెక్టిఫికేషన్ కాదా? కింద ఉన్న వీడియో చూడండి. ఇది ‘సన్నీ సంస్కారి తుల్సి కుమారి’ సినిమాలోని సీన్. (ఇది పోస్ట్ చెయ్యకూడదు అనుకున్నా సరే తప్పట్లేదు) #Peddi రావడానికి ఆర్నెల్ల ముందే ఈ సినిమా రిలీజైంది. ఈ సీన్ చేయడానికి జాన్వి ఏం ఇబ్బంది పడలేదా? అంతకుముందు 'పరం సుందరి'లో వాన పాటలో చూపించింది ఏంటి? ‘పెద్ది’ సినిమాలో మాత్రమే మహాపరాధం జరిగిపోయినట్లు ఏం గేమ్ ప్లే చేస్తున్నార్రా బాబూ? అసలు జాన్వి ఇప్పుడు కరణ్ షోకు ఎలాంటి డ్రెస్‌తో వచ్చింది? ఈ ఎపిసోడ్లో ఏం చేసింది? కరణ్ ఎలాంటి ప్రశ్నలు అడిగాడు? ఒకసారి గమనిస్తే.. వీళ్ల హిపోక్రసీ అర్థమవుతుంది.

అసలు జాన్వి కపూర్ హీరోయిన్‌గా ఎంట్రీ ఇవ్వడానికి ముందే ఆమెకు సోషల్ మీడియాలో ఫాలోయింగ్ ఎలా వచ్చింది? తన పబ్లిక్ అప్పీయరెన్స్ మొదట్నుంచి ఎలా ఉంటోంది? తన ఫొటో షూట్ల మాటేంటి? ఇక కరణ్ జోహార్ ప్రొడ్యూస్ చేసే సినిమాల తీరు.. తన టాక్ షోలో వేసే ప్రశ్నల గురించి ఎంత తక్కువ మాట్లాడుకుంటే అంత మంచిది. ఇండియన్ సినిమాలో మహిళల శరీరం మీద వ్యాపారం చేయడంలో నంబర్ వన్ ఇండస్ట్రీ బాలీవుడ్డే. ఆ ఇండస్ట్రీని రెప్రెజెంట్ చేస్తూ.. సౌత్ ఇండస్ట్రీని, తెలుగు సినిమాలను అనడమా? 'మనం చేస్తే సంసారం.. ఇంకొకరు చేస్తే...' సామెత ఈ బాలీవుడ్ వాళ్ళకు కరెక్టుగా సరిపోతుంది

బాలీవుడ్ సినిమాలు, సిరీసుల్లో హీరోయిన్లతో మొత్తం బట్టలు విప్పించేసినా అదంతా కళాత్మకత, కథలో భాగం. కానీ సౌత్ సినిమాల్లో బట్టలు తొడిగించి నడుం మీద, ఆ పైన కెమెరా పెడితే ఆబ్జెక్టిఫికేషన్? మన సినిమాల్లో సన్నివేశాలను, కెమెరా యాంగిల్స్‌ను సమర్థించడం కాదు కానీ.. ఈ బాలీవుడ్ వాళ్లు, ముఖ్యంగా కరణ్ జోహార్-జాన్వి కపూర్ లాంటి వాళ్లు వచ్చి మనకు నీతులు చెప్పడం.. విక్టిమ్ కార్డ్ ప్లే చేయడం మాత్రం విడ్డూరాలకే విడ్డూరం.

ఈ మొత్తం వ్యవహారంలో హైలైట్ ఏంటంటే.. ఏదో తనకు తెలీకుండానే, తన పప్రమేయం లేకుండానే రహస్యంగా కెమెరా పెట్టి షూట్ చేసేసినట్లు పెద్ది సినిమా తనకు ఇచ్చిన ట్రామా గురించి జాన్వీ పాప తెగ మదనపడిపోవడం.. ఆ కష్ట కాలంలో ఆమెకు కరణ్ జోహారే ఓదార్పు ఇచ్చినట్లు చెప్పుకోవడం.. 🔥🔥🔥

3. Explosive new claims from researchers at the University of Padova in Italy. They re-analysed DNA samples vacuumed from the Shroud of #Turin , the 4.4-metre linen cloth that millions of Christians believe wrapped the body of #Jesus Christ after the crucifixion.

4. The findings? Nearly 40% of the human DNA traces found on the shroud belong to Indian genetic lineages. The study notes that the yarn or fabric itself may have originated in the ancient Indus Valley region, with Romans possibly importing the linen. The researchers wrote- “The DNA traces found on the Shroud of Turin suggest the potentially extensive exposure of the cloth in the Mediterranean region and the possibility that the yarn was produced in India.”

5. Let that sink in that for over 2,000 years, the dominant narrative has placed Jesus firmly in the Middle East, born in Bethlehem, raised in Nazareth, crucified in Jerusalem. Yet this latest DNA probe, building on earlier 2015 work by the same team (Gianni Barcaccia et al.), reveals a surprising Indian genetic footprint on the very cloth said to have covered him.

6. This isn’t direct DNA from Jesus himself (the shroud has been handled by countless people across centuries, leading to contamination). But it raises legitimate, uncomfortable questions that historians, geneticists, and theologians can no longer ignore?

7. If the burial cloth’s material traces back to India, what does that say about trade, travel, or cultural exchange during Jesus’ lifetime? The Romans were known to import luxury goods from the East and could the shroud itself be evidence of deeper connections?

8. Could Jesus have had Indian ancestry or spent part of his “lost years” (ages 12–30, unaccounted for in the Bible) in India? Ancient theories from Nicolas Notovitch’s controversial manuscript to claims of Jesus studying Vedas or Buddhist teachings in Kashmir, have long existed? The Roza Bal tomb in Srinagar is even claimed by some to be his final resting place. DNA links like this add fresh fuel to those debates.

9. Does this challenge the entire Euro-centric or strictly Levantine image of Christ we’ve inherited? Over 2 billion Christians worldwide have grown up seeing Jesus depicted as a fair-skinned,Middle-Eastern figure. The Shroud of Turin has always been controversial (carbon dating once suggested medieval origins, though debates rage on). Now the DNA layer adds a whole new dimension.India and the Christian world have shared spiritual threads for centuries and from St. Thomas’ arrival in Kerala to philosophical parallels between Eastern traditions and early Christianity. But Indian DNA on the possible burial cloth of Jesus? That’s next-level.
