Containment (eg.use of pads) rather than promoting continence seems to remain a strategy for multiple reasons including lack of training and time. May be more time consuming to assist a person to access toilet facilities.

In ATTILA trial, we found that current AT systems don’t help PWD to stay longer safely in their own homes.
