This young man has taken advantage of that provision, which gives individuals, businesses, estates, factories, and communities the ability to generate up to 1 megawatt (1MW) of electricity without obtaining a license from the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC).

As a stakeholder in the sector, this could be another opportunity for the government to reduce its over-dependency on the national grid.

Kudos to this young man, he has surely gotten the grip on his house network, with a proper metering and monitoring system for his neighbours.

@blueorigin New Glenn rocket launched for third time ever today (April 19) — but for the first time with previously flown hardware. Shortly after separation. the first stage of the rocket successfully landed on a droneship in the Atlantic Ocean. The mission, called NG-3, attempted to deliver BlueBird 7, a direct-to-cellphone internet satellite, to low Earth orbit but '"the payload was placed into an off-nominal orbit. We are currently assessing and will update when we have more detailed information," according to Blue Origin. NG-3 flew the same first-stage booster core that launched NG-2, but with new engines.
