Honored to speak with the American Podiatric Medical Association about the role physicians play in shaping health policy.
As Chair of the GOP Doctors Caucus, I discussed Medicare reimbursement reform, reducing prior authorization burdens, and the importance of physician advocacy.
Great to meet with podiatrists, residents, and students in town this week!
Today, I was proud to introduce bipartisan legislation that addresses the efficiency adjustment in the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule by delaying the adjustment to ensure it is more targeted and thoughtful.
Paying physicians properly is one of the only ways to ensure continued access and quality care for patients nationwide. As your representative in Congress, it is my duty to respond to concerns and fight for our Kansas Doctors such as the concerns raised with this efficiency adjustment.
Our physicians in Kansas and across our country are committed to the health and wellbeing of all Americans, and I will continue to fight in physicians and patients best interest in Washington.

Today, I participated in a @DemWomenCaucus hearing on the mental health crisis facing teen girls.
It was an honor to hear from advocates and discuss solutions, and I will continue working with my colleagues to better support the mental health needs of our young people.
@wmata@wmataGM Please bring the yellow line all the way back to Fort Totten. The greenline gets so crowded during rush hour since people live beyond Mt. Vernon Sq. Taking the yellow line to DCA is now more of a chore, having to get on the green only to get off to transfer to a yellow.
