Promise made, promise kept. Kudos to AVID, Ambassadors for Self Determination, Madam Rachel and all the seen & unseen hands who worked so hard to actualize this critical mission to Israel. May your labors in defense of freedom produce the desired result, sooner than later.
They told us subsidy was dead and buried, but NNPCL’s latest financial statements revealed ₦7.1 trillion was quietly spent as an "energy security expense". Meanwhile, citizens are paying over ₦1,200 at the pump. The opacity in our public finance architecture is exactly why public trust has completely evaporated
Can u see they changed the name to energy security expense Hahahaha
It is subsidy ooo
The news of the abduction of a school principal, students, and a NECO official in Kogi State while the students were writing their examination is both heartbreaking and deeply troubling. That innocent children can no longer go to school, study, or sit for a national examination without the fear of criminal violence is a stark reminder of how far insecurity has eroded the sanctity of our educational institutions and the safety of our citizens. This is happening at a time when education is our most needed asset for development and growth.
Our schools must never become theatres of fear; they should symbolise hope and the promise of a better future, not terror and uncertainty.
I call on the relevant security agencies to act with urgency, deploy every available resource, and ensure the safe and unconditional rescue of all those abducted. At the same time, government at all levels must take deliberate steps to strengthen security around our schools and restore public confidence in our education system.
My thoughts and prayers are with the affected families, the school community, and the people of Kogi State. We cannot continue to normalise these recurring tragedies. A nation that cannot guarantee the safety of its children is mortgaging its future.

Nigeria in Focus at the ECFR Berlin Roundtable.
Yesterday, at the invitation of the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR), I had the honour of participating in a high-level roundtable discussion titled “Nigeria in 2027 and Beyond,” held at the ECFR office in Berlin, Germany.
The dialogue brought together policymakers, diplomats, development experts, business leaders, representatives of international organisations, and members of the international media to discuss Nigeria’s future and its role in an increasingly interconnected global landscape.
Our discussions centred on Nigeria’s democratic journey beyond 2027, international affairs, development cooperation, and the need to strengthen bilateral partnerships that can accelerate economic growth and improve the lives of our people. A key focus of the engagement was how Nigeria can deepen collaboration with international partners to support Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), recognising that they remain the backbone of every productive economy and are indispensable to job creation, innovation, wealth creation, and sustainable national development.
We also exchanged views on strengthening democratic institutions, expanding trade and investment opportunities, promoting regional stability, improving governance, and creating an enabling environment that inspires confidence among citizens, investors, and Nigeria’s international partners.
I was encouraged by the thoughtful contributions and genuine interest demonstrated by participants in Nigeria’s future. The presence of senior representatives from the German Federal Government, development agencies, business associations, policy institutes, foundations, international organisations, and respected global media organisations underscores the strategic importance of Nigeria and the shared desire to see our nation realise its enormous potential.
During the discussions, I reiterated my unwavering belief that Nigeria possesses all the human and natural resources required to become a prosperous, secure, and globally competitive nation. What is required is competent, accountable, and compassionate leadership that prioritises investment in people, education, healthcare, productive enterprise, the rule of law, and strong institutions over politics of consumption.
Nigeria’s future is bright, but only if we make the deliberate choices that will move our country from consumption to production, from poverty to prosperity, and from division to unity. By embracing good governance, fiscal responsibility, and productive partnerships with the international community, we can build an economy that works for all Nigerians and restores our nation’s standing among the comity of nations.
I sincerely thank the European Council on Foreign Relations for the invitation and all participants for a frank, engaging, and constructive exchange of ideas. Conversations such as these remain vital in fostering mutual understanding, strengthening international cooperation, and building enduring partnerships for the benefit of Nigeria, Africa, and the global community.

Yesterday, at exactly 5:45 a.m., His Excellency Mr. @PeterObi woke me with a simple reminder: “Maazi, it’s time for my routine walk.”
We spent over an hour and thirty minutes walking together in the city of Berlin, Germany while he had meeting schedule later in the day.
What struck me was not just the walk itself, but the discipline and resilience behind it.
His Excellency had only just travelled from the United States to the United Kingdom, where I met him at the airport. From there, we continued on to Germany yesterday. Despite the demanding transatlantic journey, a packed travel schedule, and a very late night, he was awake before me this morning, committed to his daily routine without excuses.
After completing the walk, he prepared for another full day, including a meeting with the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) on matters of international and foreign policy.
Leadership is often revealed in the quiet habits that people never see: discipline, consistency, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to purpose. These are the qualities I witnessed firsthand today.
For me, this is the work ethic of a man who genuinely believes Nigeria can be transformed and who is prepared to make the personal sacrifices required to achieve that vision. It is this steadfast dedication that continues to inspire hope that a new Nigeria is not merely an aspiration, but a future within our lifetime.

Dear @BBCAfrica: To answer your question:
We spoke with Mr. Adeyemi this morning. According to his account, President #Tinubu's (@officialABAT) Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila (@femigbaja) (pictured below), appointed him to lead the Nigerian presidential agency in question, facilitated its inclusion in the national budget, and later sought 45% of the agency's allocated funding. That is how the "fake" presidential council allegedly ended up with a budget of nearly $1 million.
We are concerned because President @realDonaldTrump has spoken about protecting U.S. taxpayer interests from fraud and abuse abroad. The United States is the largest funder of the World Bank, and the Nigerian national budget at issue reportedly includes funding associated with the @WorldBankGroup. We believe @TheJusticeDept may have an interest in reviewing the matter.

After we successfully called on the Federal Government and the Federal Ministry of Education to reconsider the increase in WAEC and NECO examination fees, another concerning issue has emerged.
The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) has introduced a sudden increase in the registration fee for foreign-trained medical graduates.
Foreign-trained doctors in Nigeria are now facing an unexpected financial burden just weeks before their induction.
On Friday, the MDCN informed successful foreign-trained medical graduates via email that the registration fee would be ₦250,000, plus ₦15,000 for insurance, bringing the total to ₦265,000.
However, on the 13th, another email was sent asking recipients to disregard the previous one. The registration fee had been increased to ₦400,000, with ₦15,000 for insurance, making the new total ₦415,000—a ₦150,000 increase announced less than two weeks before induction.
This is the reality currently facing foreign-trained medical graduates in Nigeria.
Where does the MDCN expect these 238 newly qualified doctors to find ₦415,000 within such a short period just to obtain their practising licences?
I am calling on the Federal Ministry of Health, the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), and the Federal Government of Nigeria to urgently reconsider this decision.
This policy will not strengthen Nigeria’s healthcare system. Nigeria is already experiencing a severe shortage of medical doctors, with fewer than 55,000 doctors serving a population of over 220 million people.
The government should consider subsidising this registration fee instead of placing an additional financial burden on young doctors who are ready to serve the nation.

"If I have a headache, you don't need to explain to me how I'm feeling—I should be the one to tell you. The fact that APC supporters spend hours trying to convince people about what President Tinubu is doing in Nigeria is worrying. It shows they are not actually doing anything. Before you know it, they start talking about the Lagos Coastal Road, but what does that mean to people who don't live in that area and still have bad roads in their area? Apart from that, people are starving."

@OloriOfOloris There is a case in the Czech Republic, a woman reported her husband that her husband was touching their two years old penis, the husband spent 2 years in prison, which was a lie against the husband...
If anyone knows how to reach DJ Chicken's family or relatives, I will be happy to advocate for him and help him challenge the burdensome charges brought against him by the jobless @PoliceNG . It is appalling that this Tinubu @officialabat regime continues to direct its prosecutorial powers against so many young Nigerians.
I want to help get DJ Chicken out of prison because I do not believe he deserves to spend a day behind bars; he is entitled to his liberty under the law.
Young Nigerians need opportunities, guidance, and justice, not persecution and endless incarceration.
It is @SeyiTinubu who ships young ladies on private jets to Abuja, who are drugged in sex-crazed parties in Abuja, who needs to be in prison.
Yes, Revolution NOW.

The young man accused of cloning Tinubu's voice, Ifechukwu Dennis, the alleged originator of an AI-generated voice note impersonating the President @officialABAT, had languished in police detention and later in the Kuje Correctional Centre.
Today, however, human rights lawyer Prince Wayne Esq. Aluta Icon Chikeze secured his release. We were present in court to witness it, and we've since confirmed that he's rejoined his family.
We have now learned that the Nigeria Police Force has filed fresh charges against him at the Federal High Court, in what appears to be a continuation of his ordeal.
This fight is far from over. We will continue to challenge these charges and stand with him until he is completely free from what we believe to be an oppressive campaign of persecution.
Nigeria's young people need opportunities to learn, innovate, create, and flourish, not incarceration and endless prosecution.

The people who have ruined Nigeria for decades, and today, the All Progressives Congress @officialapc government under Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT , have repeatedly directed their persecution at me, my family, my comrades, my colleagues, and my friends.
They targeted my education, resulting in my expulsion from the University of Lagos @UnilagNigeria twice. They seized my @officialnyscng certificate, hoping I would never secure employment after graduation.
They have repeatedly confiscated my travel documents, especially my international passport (using wicked judges and lawless DSS), keeping me separated from my family for extended periods.
They have imprisoned me, prosecuted me, assaulted me, shot at me, harassed those around me, murdered my brother, and tried to break my resolve.
But they have failed.
Persecution cannot defeat conviction, and these acts will not delay their day of judgment.
