@mckenzie_sohan@SteveTanner_ME5@realhansard 1. Get rid of the taper so everyone keeps it
2. Inflation means more people are getting pushed over it. Why would the tax bands not rise with inflation/wages.
3. Gives lower earners more incentive to work and not claim benefits if they keep more money
@HansenAdam@laflammerouge16 In my opinion that stage and the tdf final stage are treated differently because of the tradition. Some mtfs such as Alpe D’huez had problems with cars this year which could have impacted the race. I agree with the point on fairness but it should be applied across the board.
@HansenAdam@laflammerouge16 How can it be possible that a road is safe enough to race for a stage win but not count for GC times? This is different to the 3/5k rule which has started really working recently with an apparent GC pact to sit at the back
@maccashane@twloat Could even build a high speed line from East Midlands to London which would take probably less than an hour then it’s comparable to Stansted/southend
@springbris But this is essentially a way of a new Scottish government appearing to have a surplus for the first few years to boost support by not having pensions on the books. In 10-20 years time it will bite them in the arse when they need to pay with money they spent elsewhere
@picpants@RepealTCPA1947 Leaving people alone would include not giving them benefits/pension in the first place. Or government action is only good when it benefits few at the expense of many
@laflammerouge16@BenjiNaesen@lucxsronald They shouldn't be the ones setting up long range attack imo cause wout would probably make a group of 10 on the course if France try to launch it but remco should be free to ride with Seixas/Del Toro cause he's so fast in a sprint
